Bottle, 7.5%. Nice peppery and dusty aroma, qute malty. The flavour has the same characteristics with a good alcohol warmth. Medium carbonation, just enough. This is everything a Doppelbock should be. I cannot believe it is not rated higher.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange to brown. Diminished off-white to light tan head. Breadish aroma. Solid sweet initial flavour with a mild spice note. Followed by a light bitterness. Lingering breadish and spice finish. Maintains the sweetness throughout although better balanced with the bitterness towards the finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, dark mahogany with a creamy, off-white head. Sweet, caramelish nose. Full-bodied, very sweet and full of caramel malt - perhaps missing some hops for balance. 050506

A hazy amber beer with a lazing thin beige head. The aroma is acidic with notes of berries and ryebread. The flavor is sweet with notes of berries and ryebread, but also with a light metallic note.
