UPDATED: JUN 29, 2016 Bottle. Moderate roasted grain for the malt, light grass for the hops, and light dough for the yeast, with spice and metal in the background. Head is large, frothy, off-white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear light brown. Flavor starts lightly sweet and slightly acidic, then finishes slightly sweet, acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, slick with a lively carbonation. A nice easy drinking Dunkel.

Cellar clean-up. Bottled, probably gift from my mother. BB Dec 2012. Clear brown colored, small off-white head. Beautiful strong nose of roasted malts, caramel, molasses, raisins reminded me of Christoffel Wijs. Sweet malty flavor, caramel, some iron, thin bodied. Past its prime, but still quite nice, especially in aroma.

Ok.
