Grima (1855) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - DEC 29, 2012
The beer is golden yellow in and crystal clear, with a high fine head. It smells malty, spicy, slightly sour and bitter hoppy. Starts moderately hoppy, dominant malty, subtly sweet in the background, with some grains. The middle part is malty-sweet, slight sugary, with a subtle hoppy note in the background. Goes into a musty-malty finish with some sugary-sweet notes!

Bottle. Light golden, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty – grainy and sweetish aroma, light grassy hoppyness. Body is medium, malty – grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, light bread and light hoppyness. Finish is to average, malty and lightly sweetish, light grassy hoppyness and light alcohol. Lightly sweetish helles - bit too much alcohol in the finish.

Kristall-König (1841) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - JUL 15, 2012
Moderat hopfiger Geruch, andeutungsweise zitronig. Startet etwas brotig. Mitte angenehmer, verhalten aromatisch und fruchtig. Abgang mehr ins Würzige gehend, wenig bitter. Halbwegs in Ordnung.

EithCubes (4195) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 13, 2012
Bottle by 07.11.12. Pale clear-golden body with a soapy white head, very faint malty nose. Taste is sweetly malty, but light, a little cleaner than their Helles but also thinner and plainer. Just a hint of florality and bread toward the end in with some booze showing.

Maria (9556) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2012
It’s yellow-golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, flower and straw. The flavor has a light sweetness with notes of straw, malt, flower and bread, and the the finish is slightly dry and bready.

Bottle looks a little bit like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass better, zippy, nice head. Starts spicy-malty, a bit moldy and metallically. Finish milder, modest dry and grasy. Could be more intense and spicy, but okay.

Bottle (donated by joss!): Pale golden, unclear with a solid greenish sheen and a white lacy head; distinctive sweet grainy to malty nose with a solid herbal-hoppy background; soft, almost medium bodied, moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour; slightly lingering sweet-malty and smooth aromatic-hoppy finish. Well matured, fine brew....

courtesy of Thomas and Philipp - translucid and pale golden in colour; moderate foam left; shy herbal notes with hints of cider; sweet medium malt backbone, slightly oily and with a low bitterness, a late tartness and some residual sugars in a malty and gently fruity finish

(bottle) Slightly unclear, greenish golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Bready and slightly grainy malty aroma with herbal and slightly woody hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Pale malt character with grainy notes and a herbal and slightly woody hoppy touch, leading into a medium-dry malty and delicately hoppy finish. Not overly spectacular but pleasantly rounded.14.II.11
