Bottled:
Pours clear brown with a dense head. Malty, somewhat roasty aroma with notes of vegetables. Flavour is malt, cocoa and toffee. Grassy, somewhat metallic bitterness. Simple but well balanced.

Clear dark amber with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty and caramel. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 081211

Bottle. Clear dark amber/brown with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, little bread and a little caramel. Flavour is malt, hops, fruit, little caramel, bread, little grainy and medium bitter.

me llego en una caja con cervezas mezcladas de varias marcas y me dio deseo de probarla,cuando vivia en Italia probe algunas Alt Alemanas y me gusto la suavidad al paladar ,el olor es a maltas tostadas y al paladar sabor a malta tostada y algo de fruta seca con lupulo. no es nada mal pero deguste mejores Altbier

pours like stewed cold tea. small head. lots of malt in the nose. taste is pretty much similar, bitter finish. not very exciting at all. fairly bland to be honest. won’t be looking it up again.

500ml bottle. Clear amber colour. Aroma: salt, soy, caramel. Mouthfeel: clean, foamy, lagery. Taste: quite malty, faint hop finish - well balanced. Overall, pleasant, not too dissimilar to a Smithwicks-esque red ale.

Bottle, pour is pretty light, smell is kind of earthy with lots of grain in the taste, overall it was quite drinkable, it was a decent alt

Classic Altbier, full body dark and hoppy. Very good value especially in Düsseldorf where I enjoyed several bottles.
