2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 AGB (20) - Québec, Quebec, - MAR 14, 2011UPDATED: MAR 18, 2011 Schlussel is an "ok" altbier, but despite being very drinkable, there is nothing very hoppy to speak of and not really malty either, It lacks a little something that would make you say "I want another one right now", just like the Uerige Alt is, for example. The place is beautiful though, definitly worths a stop if you’re near Dusseldorf (along with all the other Altbier breweries!)
