COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Since 2001, contract-brewed for Pabst Brewing (San Antonio), as Pabst no longer owns a brewery of its own. Born in 1844, Schmidt’s beer is known as the "Official Beer of the American Sportsman"...a slogan that capitalizes on the exciting, rugged appeal of the Pacific Northwest. The quality and brewing tradition instilled by Jacob Schmidt, continues today.

It’s essentially swill. A little flatter than the typical swill but otherwise, pretty similar.

Pretty much tastes like every other macro pale lager on the market, but just a bit sweeter from the malts.

Bottle. Pours a clear light straw yellow body with a small white head that vanished pretty quickly. Th nose is very very minimal, hard to identify it as beer really. Just a hint of corn and a light mineral note. The flavor is much the same, corn syrup and a dry grassy note on the finish, a little paper maybe. Very watery and thin with fizzy carbonation. Not as offensive as many Pale Lagers, but not exactly enjoyable.

Tried this in MN awhile ago. Utterly terrible, straw and water. Corned sweetness. Haven’t been sad that this one isn’t available near me.

Horrible. Only reason I gave it a 3 on the "ovreall" was the fact that it has a grizzly bear consuming a salmon on the can. This sucks.

Bottle from weis lewisburg. Pours golden with a thin white head. Not much on the tongue or nose. Boring and inoffensive.

Can from DiarmaidBHK - another drain pour in the buttered popcorn genre. Big pass for me.

12Oz at wedding. Sour mild lager. Pale yellow water. Funky weak banana. Crap. Bad crap.

Label proclaims "Premium Beer", it is no worse or better than bud or miller, animal oriented cans.
