JPDIPSO (4344), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Apr 24, 2008 Memories of an after work brew at the Tophat in downtown St. Paul with friends when I was working in the area. I remember the times were better than the beer, but perhaps time heals some wounds. Straw color with a taller, fizzy white head. Wet pulp and hints of glue aromas. Watery, grainy flavors. Some light toasted malt does seem to poke in and out. I remember it not being good, but I don’t remember it being this bad. Light grape juice finish.
coopermrkn (26), Minnesota, USA Sep 24, 2008 Updated: Oct 9, 2008Kinda sour. I wasn’t impressed like I have been with other cheep beers. Not as bad as some but certainly not as good as most. SpringsLicker (1846), Tennessee, USA Aug 18, 2008 Thanks to decaturstevo for this gem!
Very pale clear yellow body with a medium sized white head.
No aroma, no flavor, watery. Shag (1811), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Aug 18, 2008 A pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma isnt too bad with a slight malt presence. The flavor is a wack of corn but also some maltiness exists. Sure beats most BMC mainstream offerings. I dig the fish can as well. mjg74 (1867), La Mesa, California, USA Aug 14, 2008 Can from Hamilton, MT. Golden lager color. Fairly grain and somewhat sour. Maybe a hint of malt. Pretty much what I expected. maniac4016 (114), bill clinton, Iceland Jul 19, 2008 it is what it is, not terrible but nothing to get hard over either. better than most macro produced swill. on pare with schlitz, strohs & the usual suspects
