Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light caramelish. Sweet, toasted malty and light breadish. Nice bitterness breaking the sweet malt flavours. Bitter and roasted finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of saxo. Pours an almost clear amber with a small white head. Rather subtle aroma, a little caramel . Medium body, lowish carbonation. Very low on flavours, some caramel and a massive boozy finish with some bitterness. Not horrible - just pretty bland for a Barley Wine. 060413

Süß geprägter Beginn, wobei die Süße angenehm ist und nicht wie sonst oft zuckrig wirkt. Wenig trocken, der Alkoholgehalt ist erkennbar aber nicht störend. Würzig, im Mittelteil vollmundig. Grasiger und dunkel malziger Abgang und Nachgeschmack. 7/11/9/12/10/11
