Tap in Scheßlitz. Pale yellow with a lacing white head. Not much of a nose, but rich golden malt in the mouth, a crisp, heavy full body and low bitterness. Not dirty, but the thing is just covered in chalk (and a little hop dust). A little amateurish but traditional. A "hard" pils.

Bottle@Home. Very malty aroma. Pale yellow, white head, good lace. Sweetish, malty, bitter. Pretty standard German pilsener.

Bottle: Pale greenish-golden, smal white head, grainy-strawy nose, grassy hops underneath; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, a bit sharp on the tongue; short grassy-tart finish. Not really good.....

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Discreetly strawy and slightly doughy pale malty aroma with a tinge of citric and slightly herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Soft pale malty and slightly chalky taste with herbal and subtle citric hops; dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish. Decent German Pils. 16.IX.11

0.5 l bottle at PBF. Golden color. Sweetish, malty and honeyish aroma with herbal hops. Malty, bitter, herbal and honeyish flavor. Light bodied. Stale flavor, better aroma.

Golden, sparkly. Spicy aroma with seabreeze malts. Minerally and thin. Kind of lame. The promising nose doesn’t amount to much as it gets macro-ish on the palate.

Draught. Good corn aroma. Clear golden colour, sparkling. Nice big stable white head. The flavour is mild, has a little malt, hint of cream. Tastes slightly macro, which it probably is.

Pale yellow with a small white head. Weak aroma of grassy hops and a little DMS. Sweet malty flavour with some hops.

Bottled at PBF. Pale straw colour, small head. Grassy nose with butter behind. Rather dry, grassy and husky. Distinctly hoppy with lots of grass. Long salty bitterness. A credible pilsener.

Bottled (PBF, BB 11/2009). Golden color, small white head. Grassy herbal aroma. Herbal grassy, metallic flavor. Thinnish body. Grassy-metallic aftertaste. Boring German supermarket pils.
