4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 polomagnifico (1102) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - JUL 12, 2012
Bottle. Aroma has notes of toasted cereal malts, a little caramel, lemon and citrus fruits and lager yeast. Very nice for a Pilsener. Hazy medium golden hue with a slight orange tint. Average rocky white head that mostly diminished and left good lace. Flavor is medium sweet and bitter. Palate is medium/light bodied and watery with average carbonation. Overall a very nice Pilsener that I really enjoyed. Fantastic when fresh!!!!

It it smells like an ipa if it tastes like an ipa it probably is an ipa, well not in this case. It is a bit lighter than an ipa taste wise but still familiar like one. I am enjoying this beer
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jodah52 (210) - Michigan, USA - MAY 12, 2011
Deep gold, clear, with a medium white head that disappears quickly. Strong aroma of herbal and slightly grassy hops. They have a lot of citrus and a bit of spice to them. Taste is fairly sweet, but this beer is definitely balanced towards bitterness. The aftertaste is citrus, malt, weedy, dusty. Fairly dry mouthfeel. This is more a pre-Prohibition American lager than a Czech pilsner (as the bottle advertises); but this is probably the best effort I’ve tasted yet from this generally mediocre brewery. It’s clean, flavorful, full of American hop character. Very good lawnmower beer for hopheads.

If you like hops in your beer; lots and lots of hops... I mean LOTS of hops, you’ll love this one. Frankly, I don’t like that much hops in my beer, but I assure you, that first one always tastes GREAT. After that, it all depends on your hops tolerance.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 WakeandBake (549) - Greenville, Michigan, USA - JUL 22, 2010
Bottle . A hazy golden color pour with a big long lasting foamy offwhite head , medium carbonation , lots of jagged lacing . Aroma of toasted malts and strong lemongrass , slightly sour and zesty . Flavor is quite balanced with a biscuty toasty malt backbone , some tangy wheat like falvors , lemon and grassy earthy hops , nice level of bitterness , creamy mouthfeel , long hoppy finish , quite drinkable and intresting .

A wonderful locally made Pilsner. Nice flavor and aroma, the best beer to have right after mowing the lawn.

tap at the brewery..translucent amber body with minimal white head..aroma is very grassy and herbal..typical pilsener like body that gives rise to a very grassy/earth-based citrus flavor profile..not at all bad

On tap at Schmohz. Hazy yellow-orange body, thin buff head. Grassy, biscuity aroma with appropriate sweetness. Decent flavor profile, with cookie and lemon, paired with grassy hops. Somewhat metallic. Long, earthy hops finish. Light but not watery. A quaffable pilsener.

Draft sample at Schmohz. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Medium sour citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body. Medium bitter flavor with a Medium bitter finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.
