COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A bright American Pale Ale structured for the lighter tastes. An exhilarating floral American hop finish is sure to beg for yet another glass.

12 oz bottle: A really nice hop aroma, grapefruit and floral. Appearance is a clear amber with a medium head that diminishes quickly. Taste has got a nice bitter hop bite in the front end with a lingering bitterness through the after taste. Overall, Kind of straight forward American Pale Ale but there is nothing really wrong with it. Cheers!

hazy orange, fluffy off-white head, lacy. malty nose with a tgrace of hops. flavor is malt, immediately followed by a slight hoppiness. medium bodied, lingering bitter finish. not as bitter as i usually want, but what is there lingers there. i could drink a number of these during a hockey game.

tap at the brewpub last summer - Pours light copper/amber with a lingering head. There’s a mild aroma of caramel malt and hops. The flavor is mildly bitter with a light body and subdued malt. It’s bubbly and again, okay, but not impressive. To the prior reviewer, this is definitely not a sour beer. Your bottle was infected.

I picked up a bottle while in Grand Rapids. I had pretty good expectations. Looked okay and at first whiff it’s very evidently soured with brett for sure and possible bacteria (not sure). Light funk in the nose but mostly acidity. You sour lovers might like it. Not hating. I will try it again next time I’m in town.

One of the best pale ales I have had! Fresh and crisp on the palate with no bitter after-taste.

When I am craving that fragrant hoppy goodness, I reach for a Schmohz Pail Ale.

A representation of what American beer should be. Plenty of hops, and malt.

Nothing is better than a mug of Pail Ale after the Schmohz’s 5k run. It is a good ale.
