Britales (56), Cape Charles, Virginia, USA Feb 7, 2004 This is a nice Pils ! More in keeping with the crisper finished Northern style than Bavarian, it is extremely nice on tap if you are in the area between Frankfurt and Heidleburg! Don't know if it is available here in the states anymore?
kappldav123 (1172), Markkleeberg, Germany Nov 28, 2008 The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer is very zippy, but there’s not much foam. Tastes very mild, the finish is a bit drier, but also a bit woody-sourish. Not my favourite! Quack-Duck (1973), Bodensee, Germany Aug 9, 2008 bottle, thank you kölschtrinker. Clear pale yelow colou, medium-sized head. Hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, pleasantly hoppy with some cardboadr hints. Shy malty flavours bledned into the background. dm9831 (706), Monee, USA Mar 7, 2008 bottle labeled ’odenwalder meister pilsner’. pours a watery looking golden. slight grain/grass in nose. flavor has the slightest hoppiness, but mostly sweet in the finish. weak tasting, not much fun here. RSRIZZO (1078), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 18, 2007 Had this beer on 6/11/2006. Aroma is a light malt scent. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and nice tight head. Taste is crisp and fresh. Starting with a light body it goes down easy with a fizzy crisp feel. Finish is light and fresh with a mild malt taste backed by an easy bitterness and faint hop flavor. Its one of the better Pilsner and Imports I’ve had. downender (1726), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Sep 5, 2007 Bottle. A standard Euro lager. Pale gold with a good white head. Aroma of sweet malt with a touch of grassy hop. Flavour started sweet with a moderate dry finish. Ok.
