2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Alko. High white foam that quickly dissapears. Malty aroma that is dark but not from chrystal malts but more Munchner or Wiener. The taste is also malty and a tuch of alcohol. Not much hops or bitterness. Nice big body.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Lite kullsyre. Smaken er søtlig brent malt. Ettersmaken er søtlig. Kjedelig øl.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
0.5 l bottle from Alko. Amber color with creamy white head. Sweet, malty and toffeish aroma with higher alcohols, almonds and cherries. Malty and toffeish flavor with fair amount of higher alcohols. Also hints of raisins and nuts. Too much higher alcohols for me. The alcohols are soft but pungent and glue like.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Amber with a small white head. A lot of bread in the sweet aroma and taste. Also some alcohol, light fruitiness and caramel.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle (Alko)
Rich pinky orange, small tight fluid head. Sweet aroma - almost sugar-pink in sweetness. Grainy too, and quite husky. Retronasals quite sweet, and estery, but also some woody and pencil-sharpenning bitterness too. Palate very smooth, but not without a lightly tingly carbonation. Certainly a grainy body, and a large barky noble hop component, but the bitterness is a little too barky. Some liquorice-like bitter root, with a hint of the earth still on it. Finish a little bit alcoholic, but with enough else wafting around to make it quite like a herb liqueur. Perhaps a bit cloying with the strength. Not in the mood for it currently.

why the "rosé"? a bit unpleasant with its strong alc standing out as it does not bring anything too good out with it. strong maltiness is not my favourite things. Sweet. Some bitterness but not enough to save the experience.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle, by courtesy of Finn. Crystal clean, copper-golden body. Slightly fading, near-white head. Gentle mid-sweet juicy malts to the nose. Caramel malts in flavour with integrated alcohol. More sweet than bitter to the ending. Soft mouthfeel (Tromsø, 21.05.2010).

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
50 cl bottle. Deep copper, reddish-brown beer. Thick and showy, slightly yellowish head. Sweet aroma has lots of malts, some caramel and biscuity notes and some strawberries. Grassy and slightly herbal hops on the background. Slightly glueish, quite alcoholic finish with minor bitterness. Sweet, slightly caramelly flavor. Too alcoholic. Full bodied and oily palate.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle. Clear amber colour, thin off-white head. Sweet, sligthly roasted malty aroma with nuts and dried fruits. The flavour is malty, nutty, fruity, with some alcohol warmth in the mildly bitter finish. Quite nice, but doesn’t really stand out in any way.
