dwyerpg (2143), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Nov 28, 2008 This smells pretty good. A little bit of hops. The flavor has a good bite. It doesn’t seem too wheaty. A good beer that doesn’t seem strong. Nice. jbrus (4305), Delft, Netherlands Nov 28, 2008 Bottle@Home, thanks DerDoppelbock. Lemon, banana and wheat aroma. Murky, yellow/orange color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, very bitter, tangerine, banana, grassy. Warming. Very flavourful, very different. Snojerk321 (1124), San Diego, California, USA Nov 28, 2008 Bottle from South Bay Drugs. Pours a cloudy deep golden color with a fizzy white head. A ton of yeast sediment in the beer as well. Nose was very fruity with pineapple, citrus and some farmhouse funk. Flavor was very fruity and yeasty with the finish being light/ medium in body. jake65 (1325), Meridian, Idaho, USA Nov 27, 2008 Bottle: Dirty blonde color with many particles. Large white/yellow head and decent lacing. Nose is wheaty, floral, and a little earthy. Tastes right on par with the aroma and adds a little bit of spiciness. Some lingering bitters and perhaps just a bit soapy even. Nice hoppy presence overall. Thanks Jordan. BückDich (4605), Boise, Idaho, USA Nov 27, 2008 Bottle: Cloudy muddy orange/brown, thick white head and a firm sheet of lacing. The nose is fresh and herbal with tons of yummy ammoniaish minty hallertau. The flavor is sweet and intense with a distinct dusty hop note. Good. Interesting experiment with the high gravity and dry hopping on the hefe. I like!
