A very complicated beer. Blur color with nice head. Aromas and tastes of banana, earth and yeast. Sweet but in its own way. Enjoyable, but cant drink more than 1-2.

Bottle picked up at Rick’s in Alexandria. Served in a tulip. Ecause we are moving and I already packed all my weizen glasses. Pours a hazy deep golden color with a bit of a copper tint to it. The head is initially large and foamy, but falls down fairly quickly. Good lacing and a collar throughout. The nose has some really spicy German hops. Not nearly as enticing as the Brooklyn version. The flavor has some more hop spice and faint floral characteristics. Moderate malt and a touch of sweetness. A bit too boozy as well. Overall, not a huge fan of this one.

A - Poured a 500ML bottle into a weizen glass. Cloudy orange, good amount of sediment particles dancing about, big fluffy head that stayed and went to some nice lacing throughout the glass. A - Big floral hops cover up the hidden, banana, clove and bubble gum. This is a beautiful smelling beer with a nice complex aroma. The hops are mostly floral/perfume like w/some citrus underneath. T - Floral hops, sweet grain, bubblegum and banana - Some really spicy notes that taste like a mix of yeast/hop profile. P - Creamy, big carbonation, medium bodied - this beer feels really nice with a big full swig. O - Fantastic collaboration of east/west and styles. I would love to try this fresh one day.

Bottle in a Schneider Brooklyner Hopfenweisse label. Pours a dark orangish copper color with a white foamy head. Looks silky. Nose is clove and pepper with a light banana background. Lots of spice upfront. Palate is smooth with a creamy swallow and a soft bite in the finish. Flavors of banana and circus peanuts, crisp grassy hops, and the spices finish it off.

(bottle) Poured cloudy pale amber with huge white head. Nice aroma - tangy, spicy, bananas. Medium bodied with plenty of fine prickly carbonation. The flavour has a nice subtle balance of sweet and sour - there’s little malty sweetness offset by some slight fruity tanginess. The flavour has a dominant bite of spice and alcohol with some pleasant, although fairly subtle, hop bitterness in the finish. Overall an excellent strong wheat beer.

500mL bottle purchased at BevMo in Natomas. The aroma is a bit fruity with plenty of bubblegum esters. I don’t get a ton of hops in the nose. Perhaps some stale grassy hops. Perhaps there is some lemony hints, too. Not bad, but nothing great. Mostly hazy yellow-brown body with a foamy, strong and bubbly off-yellow head. Starts pretty hoppy with some herbal and floral and earthy hops flavors. Becomes a little astringent and lemony in the middle. Almost overly carbonated. Some yeast esters give this a little more bubble gum. I also get some roastiness before this finishes a bit bitter. Not sure if this is ethanolic bitterness or the noble hop bitterness. This is very pedestrian, but it could very well be an old bottle. The code on the back has 2 lines with the first being 11.106 1 and the second line being 0819 2718
