Potent pine hops aroma with some clove and notes of ginger and lemon and a little bit of vitamin. Murky light yellowish brown with a big rocky head that drops to a thick, bubbly cover that clings to the glass. Smooth, yet strong flavour of citrus hops with some pine, corriander. Significant sweetness that is balanced by an appropriate amount of bitterness which is unusual for this style (of course this beer is not really in any style). Warm with alcohol, but no ethanol flavour. Salty. Full body, high carbonation, lingering hops flavour. BrotherGrendel (580), San Diego, California, USA

Nose is pine resin with a touch of bubblegum yeast, caramel, light fruits (pears, apricots), citrus, and spice. Taste is sweet fruits with a flavorful hop and spice backbone, sweet caramel malts and yeast hit midway along with fruit syrup, finishes drying with a hint of alcohol warming and pepper spice. Medium-bodied with smooth creamy texture and moderate carbonation. A well-balanced variant of a wheat, bursting with amazing aromas, hops accentuate the fruits and yeast, very impressive! drfabulous (1232), Columbia, Missouri, USA

This feels very traditional and much better than your average American. Well balanced and tasty. Radek Kliber (3942), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Appearance: Mid hazed summer amber with large brisk white crown. Nose: Strong , refreshing nose. Peach and mango, sweet green hops with sweet caramel dough like base. Late spiciness is noted. Very neat.8- Flavor/Palate : Medium full bodied hoppy wheat. Citric , fruity hop character with slight dryness at finish. Not as wholesome rounded as one might wish to be. Green slightly metallic hops at finish with drying alcohol.. Long lasting spicy , peppery character stretched over. I wished be bit sweeter. downender (2578), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England

Aroma of yeast, plenty of spice including cloves and a hint of coriander, lemon and floral hops. Flavour was sweet, with some graininess, citrus fruit and plenty of hops, giving a hint of pine. Plenty of warming alcohol in the finish. An unusual take on wheat beer which was thoroughly enjoying. AgentSteve (1357), SF Bay Area, California, USA

The nose is subtly sweet and fruit with a floral hop profile. The flavor is quite the same, and very easy drinking. KimJohansen (6909), Copenhagen V, Denmark

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 2, 2008 Maybe it was just the light, but a beautiful gold body that faded to copper just underneath a good sized, flat topped head. Melons, lemon and banana backed up by yeasty wheat in the nose. Flavors of citrus, more banana and spice with a touch of bitterness along with smooth sweet malt and wheat. You’d never guess that it was 8.2% unless it warms up a little. Never cloying and a light body for such a flavorful beer. Time to go buy some more. Fantastic.
