Jul 26, 2008 500ml Schneider bottle: I picked this up at the Pizza Port shop, the guy working says it would be a wheat, but fit my taste for an IPA--interesting... it really is not a strong, dark wheat beer, but rather, a strong, medium wheat beer... creamy, no alcohol, banana bread, some spice, perfume; good.

Jul 25, 2008 Pours from bottle a very hazy yellow, forming a nice white foamy head. Aroma of clean bready yeast, spices, perhaps corriander. Flavour was full bodied, crisp clean wheats, malts and spices. The smoothness tended to balance the beer out leaving me wanting more. Very excellent beer.

Jul 25, 2008 Bottle thanks to dkachur! Hazy golden yellow color with a strong banana aroma. Flavor is that of banana bread with tangy citrus as well. Hoppy as well, more so than expected.

Jul 23, 2008 nice amount of cediment in this one, hazy pour, yellowish color, lots and i mean lots of perfect foam ( looked so pretty) nose has some nice hops and that german wheat beer smell. flavor is intresting hops move more to the background, fruity, definate wheat. good finish, could drink a few more of these.

Jul 19, 2008 500ml bottle. Whatever you do, don’t pour the yeast. The beer is light yellow and the yeast is dark brown... turn-off. That happened on my second pour though so I’m cool. Pours cloudy, ddep, straw yellow, big crisp white head, decent retention, some lace. Smells light bready, yeasty malty with lots of banana. Tastes about the same. Lots of banana with yeasty and spicey, bready malts. Medium body, crisp carbonation.

Hazy yeasty, big cloudy off-white head, lace. Very spicey, alcoholic nose. Wheaty, licoricey, full-bodied with some hops. A bit weird weizenbock. Interesting, but slight dissapointment as I am a fan of both breweries.

Jul 19, 2008 (500 ml bottle from Julio’s Liquors) Soft, wheaty and boozy....Pours cloudy gold-yellow with a very tall, foamy, rocky, frothy off-white head. Aroma of banana, sourish citrus, hops, yeast, perhaps bubblegum. Mouthfeel fairly soft and wheaty smooth. Some fairly solid foamy rings of lacing even in my weizen. Flavor is big and wheaty. Also quite boozy esp. towards finish. Notes of light brown sugar, a bit of a citrus tang, light banana. Flavor actually seems to fade a bit as it warms which is kind of strange. A bit of a bitter bite in finish. Pretty good stuff but not quite at the top level of weizen bocks I’ve had.

Jul 14, 2008 Pours a very hazy golden color with a ton of sediment and a fluffy white head. Aroma of fruits, yeast, spices, lemon, banana, this one smells killer. Flavor is bitter, lemony, grassy, spicy, yeasty and very unique. Lots of carbonation and a crisp peppery finish. Interesting brew.
