Commercial Description:
This Beer is bottled in 500ml SCHNEIDER bottles.
This unique beer is the result of the long friendship of Schneider brewmaster Hans-Peter Drexler and Brooklyn brewmaster Garrett Oliver. The two brewmasters feel that Schneider & Brooklyner Hopfen-Weisse represents the quality, tradition and terroir of the Bavarian Hallertauer hop region paired with the innovation and creative energy for which Brooklyn is famous.

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is powerfully wheaty and grassy hoppy combined with sweet malty notes as well as medium notes of mango and lighter notes of banana. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of wheat and fruit - mango and oranges, as well as medium notes of caramel and grass, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The alchohol tickles the tongue.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Pours a very hazy golden with a handsome, dense, off-white head leving a pretty lacework. Fresh - somewhat herbal - hoppy nose. The usual banana flavours are very downplayed - almost non-existing. Medium body, dry malt accents and again these herbal and citrusy accents with a distinct and atypical bitterness. Very interesting. 041007

Bottled at RBESG. Cloudy deep golden, rich head. Orangey banana aroma. Medium-full bodied. Fruity and yeasty, juicy and aromatic. Feels lighter than it’s size. By weizenbock-standards unusual amounts of hop bitterness finishes it off.

RB #1600: 50 cL bottle, thanks to Lars and Kim for sharing especially this and many more beers on the 18th of September at Ølbaren. This poured hazy yellow to orange with a little white head. Very strong citrus fruity aroma. Very citrus fruity flavour, heavy heavy hoppy flavour. Most amazingly the finish gives a great caramel malty flavour which breaks the dominant hop-flavour. Fantastic.

Bottle. [Courtesy of DerDoppelbock]. Murky yellow orange / grey color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wheat, moderate to heavy hoppy, grape, citrus, moderate yeasty, banana. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Very very nice ;o)) (080208)

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet apricot, grass and yeast along with some mild hoppyness. Flavour is quite the same with some acidic wooden notes. A strange brew.

Bottle, 8.2%. Spicy hop aroma. Cloudy orange colour, small floaties. Small stable white head. High carbonation. The flavour is spicy with a little soapy notes.

Bottle. Hazy amber coloured with a white head. Sweet aroma of bananas, caramel, hops and pine needles. Flavour of bananas, caramel, hops and pine needles. Hoppy finish. The idea of making a hoppy weizen bock is quite good.
