This poured hazy yellow to orange with a little white head. Very strong citrus fruity aroma. Very citrus fruity flavour, heavy heavy hoppy flavour. Most amazingly the finish gives a great caramel malty flavour which breaks the dominant hop-flavour. Fantastic. robinvboyer (1444), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada

Really nice aroma, a great mix of pungent hops, wheat, roasty wheat, and some subtle caramel. The hops really come through in the flavor, when the beer was cold the hops were quite citric and were mingling very nicely with the banana, caramel, and bubblegum ester, it’s so nice! But as the beer warms the hops take over, and are flooding my taste buds with a soapy hoppy mess of an aftertaste. All in all thought much better than the Brooklyn version, the alcohol is well hidden in the Schneider version, its not an alcohol bomb like i thought the Brooklyn version was. I will have to save a few for later in the year. probstk (1085), Nepean, Ontario, Canada

App.: Dirty orange-gold with lots of yeast flecks, ring of white head.
Aroma: Pine, orange peel, pineapple, tropical fruits, tangy mango, apricot, a wicked fruit salad with hop backing.
Palate: Medium body, fairly full but gentle effervescence.
Flav.: Lots of the esters but also some great pine/resin/earthy hops, spiciness (coriander), slightly wooden, grapefruit; off-dry and so-so bitterness with a pleasant fruity-malt finish.
An absolute masterpiece, I love this beer. skoisirius (587), Seattle, Washington, USA

Those beautiful banana clove notes I love so well from the regular Scheider exist alongside an amazing, thick, and smooth malty body. Spices are a bit amped, and goes well. Alcohol is not detectable. Would love to get my hands on another! jeremytoni (1138), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

The aroma is right on the mark for the style. Its nice and big with sweetness, wheat, banana, tartness and hop spiciness. The taste is very similar with sweet sugary malts, hints of banana and spice along with a nice hoppy zest underneath. It leaves a pleasant taste behind. I’d love to have this on tap on a hot summer day. Excellent summer brew.
