Deep and complex – for big and relaxing moments by the fire.

Dark-ruby colored wheat doppelbock with a creamy fine head. Strong notes of ripe bananas, raisins and plums meet liquorice and roasty aromes. Full-bodied and warming, with a well-balanced and smooth finish. The ideal companion for hearty roast meat, venison and also fruity chocolate desserts, “Kaiserschmarrn” (pancakes), “Elisenlebkuchen” (christmas cookies) or blue cheese.

Oldest wheat doppelbock of Bavaria. Since 1907. 18.5°

Uit de fles 0,5l. Donkerbruin bier. Aroma’s van mout, gedroogd fruit en bananenschuimpjes. Dit komt ook in de smaak terug, die is zoet-bitter. Lekkere weizenbock/dunkelbock

The rich aroma of dark fruit, wine and dried fruit tones. On the palate, a nice fruity acidity, harmonious sweetness of caramel. Delicate bitterness arises in which you can make out even the little notes of dark chocolate. The bitter aftertaste turns stronger starts playing woody tones, perfectly set off by acidity, flash cherry pits. At the finish finally felt strong enough beer, but no alcoholic is not in sight.

Thick light/medium brown. Minimal coating. Nutty and extra sweet. Minimal smell of malts, more like alcohol. Fruity creamy smooth. Very slightly spicy and zesty. Very tender and rich. Does not feel like a strong beer. Overall : Absolutely delicious! Very complex and one of my favorite beer ever tasted.

Enjoyable but it did not meet my expectations. Roasted malt was spot and not too sweet. Banana, cloves and dried fruit are barely there. Perhaps the bottle was on the shelf for a while but not as good as I remembered.

Bottle 50cl. Deep brown, nearly black. Tiny off white head. Aroma of malts reminds me also of wood. Taste is rather flat, almost no development. Mild bock taste, with a weizen touch.

Full of dark fruit like a constipated geriatric. Raisins, currants, prunes. Fantastic balance with a nice thick mouthfeel. A definite departure from your typical Schneider.

A house typical wheat bear with malty and wheat character combined. The doppelbock is present with a nice warmth. Simply a "nice weiss beer".

Dark hazy brown color, big foamy head. Amazing rich aroma of bananas, cloves, malts, liquorice and a little bit smoke. Taste goes the same way with smooth and smokey finish. Amazing, just amazing beer! Straight to one of my favourites
