My first wheat bock.
Kind of sweet and licorice testing.
Interesting, but not really to my taste. I’m a stout drinker.

Deep brown with thin off white head. Aroma is candied banana bread. Tastefollows nose with a little clove and maybe some cicinnamon. Strong carbonation feel. Very very good beer, but not 100 in my opinion.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours mahogany brown with a reddish hue and a gigantic beige head. Smell of clove, banana and bananabread. Tastes like a imperial hefeweizen, extreme amounts of banana, very bready but still extremely drinkable and alcohol is completely unnoticable.

50 cl. bottle poured in to a weizen glass. Murky, dark amber with a big, off-white head. Good looking in the tall glass. Sweet aroma with banana, dark fruits, spices, wheat malts and light toasted. Some citrus. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes spicy and fruity with a discrete bitterness. Excellent weizen.

My second Schneider to have tried. I had the hopfenweissen, fell in love, and was scared to try others. I’m so glad I did though. Aventinus is just as good if not better. Will definitely be getting more.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma - has a bubblegum syrupy malt aroma
Appearance - body is a pale brown, almost like cola color; liquid is cloudy; head is white and big about 1" and the head retention is very high. There is also a tight bubble lacing. Really nice!
Taste - is mildly sweet malt, banana/bubblegum thing going on; there is a slight hop tang
Palate - body is close to medium, the texture slightly thin; the carbonation is lively; the finish has a tang about it and hangs for a little bit.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Murky light brown, decent wee head. Rich sultana nose, soft peppery sweetness throughout. Lovely tang of bitterness, rich and tea-like. Foamy cream towards the finish. Drag of yeastiness but silkly sweet linger. Nice to have this with a touch of murky age on it.
