Pours cloudy brown with medium white head. Nose is wheat, yeast, slightly off banana, clove. The flavor begins with musty wheat, segues to banana, finishes with clove. Nice full mouthfeel. There are barest hints of plum and olive as well. Nice peppery finish. Sticks to the tongue, and very heavy body. Leaves the peppery taste, along with clove cigarettes for an aftertaste. Excellent.

Pours a hazy dark brown with a large off-white head and lots of carbonation. Very yeasty, clove aroma with hints of wheat bread, citrus, banana, caramel, and plum. Delicous flavors that start sweet and finish spicy. There are all kinds of fruit flavors in the complex taste - raisin, banana, lemon, orange, prune, cherry. This beer is full-bodied and excellently balanced, with a lively carbonation presence. Very smooth going down and it’s not syrupy sweet, but rather crisp and refreshing.

One pint, 0.9 oz (500 mL) brown bottle purchased from Warehouse Liquors, Chicago, IL Hazy brown beer having small diminishing off-white head. Nice aroma of spice (clove), toffee, and apricot. Soft carbonation. Full bodied with a creamy oily texture that starts with smooth spicy, light sweet malt, toffee and smoke flavors. Finishes dry with light clove and sweet malt aftertaste. Rich complex flavors and aroma. High gravity. A fabulous wheat dopplebock, one of my favorite beers that I hope to enjoy over and over again.

Pours an amber orange color. White head that stays afloat for a good while. Aroma is definately wheaty. You can always tell a wheat beer. Touch of alcohol, estery. Flavor is wheaty and kinda fruity. Very decent beer, easy to drink, rich, full flavor. Well done.
