4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Wow, what a great surprise and combination of flavors! A high alcohol content without an overpowering taste, a deep reddish colored hue, solidly built head, a bit cloudy in appearance, sweet aroma and wonderfully complex palate. A very fine choice that’s well done.

One of the all-time favourites. Very complex and really fresh. Beware of the alcohol, though ;-)

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
An excellent beer. Has a wonderful dark brown color, and a large foam head. Lots of tastes in this one. Sweet, with a slight taste of alcohol. A very smooth beer with hints of fruit and caramel, among other things.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Dark, slightly clouded, amber with a mushy head. Sweet cloves aromas with a roasted touch. Extremely pleasant at nose. Caramel, cloves, hints of malt, the flavor is complex but extremely well balanced. Round, crisp, highlighting well the flavors, it is yet refreshing and smooth. You feel the alcohol in your head, not in your mouth. As close to perfection as a beer can be...A masterpiece by Schneider and Sohn.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nicely honeyed and goes down well. Dark, rich amber color. I enjoyed it for taste--not so much for continuous drinking. But a very very nice round--cheers, Jine.

Pours a dark hazy copper. Smells earthy with hints of banana. Has a sweet, malty flavor with a fairly strong spice element. Flavor has hints of sage and banana. Finishes smooth.

This is the best beer I have ever had so far. I won’t go into all of the details as it has been descibed pretty well by others. I love it. Nothing beats it. Two of these rocks my brain with warmth and happiness. THe BEST! Did I mention that I like this brew?
