The ideal companion for hearty roast meat, venison and also fruity chocolate desserts, “Kaiserschmarrn” (pancakes), “Elisenlebkuchen” (christmas cookies) or blue cheese.

Tumma, colamainen väri. Todella paksu kermainen vaahto, säilyy pitkään. Haju hiivainen ja banaaninen. Maku makea, banaania ja hiivaa, hieman sahtimainen. Lämmetessään maku ja ennen kaikkea makeus korostuu.

500ml bottle. Hazy reddish brown colour with a thin off white head. Aroma is yeast, banana, fruit cake. Taste is similar, with added caramel. Excellent beer, reminds me a lot of Belgian abbey beers.

Wow. Pretty epic. So much depth, glorious taste. Pretty ultimate, though very strong 8.2%. One bottle and I'm done. Raisins, banana. Black colour. Not your normal wheat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Reddish chestnut colour, cloudy. Big creamy head by low retention. Aroma- plum, prune, raisin/dried fruit, apple, nuts, as well as the familiar wheat beer banana aroma. Taste- chocolate/caramel. There’s a bit of a spicy mouthfeel but creamy as well and malty. Very warm and smooth. Palate is certainly sweet with a bit of fruit tart/sourness. Medium carbonation and full bodies. Creamy warm smooth finish.

Muddy, dark brown pour with some tan lacing. Malty aroma, some banana, roasty, maybe even a bit smoky. Rich taste, a bit sweet in the beginning with a bitter finish. Rich body, smooth, creamy mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Delicious.

Copenhagen 29/7 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. A lot going on the label with a founder surrounded by gold medals, the brewery and something that looks like a lump of god hemorrhaging blood. Pours hazy dark reddish brown with white head. Settles as patchy thin layer of foam. Intense aroma of banana, oak barrel and alcohol. Hints of citrus. Strong carbonation and thick creamy palate. Taste is medium sweet followed by light bitterness. A little bit of dark alcohol in the aftertaste - without being boozy. Very nice, balanced and pretty muscular wheat beer.
