COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark ruby, glistening mysteriously, streaked with fine, top-fermented yeast, this beer has a compact, stable and long-lasting head. It has an intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. The palate experiences a gentle touch, on the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a strong, smoothly rounded, sour impression.

Poured a cloudy brown color with aroma of wheat, clove, bubblegum, and banana. Flavor is the same with a touch of spicey yeast comming through. Real drinkable for the abv in the beer.

Cloudy Golden Brown, clover and banana. Good rounding. Alcohol flavour. Fruity and sweet.

Bottle (500ml from Peckhams, Glasgow): This one is much like a traditional hefeweizen in smell to begin with, there is a lot of clove and banana along with some nice spice and a hint of bubblegum. In addition to this there is also a light caramel aroma.
Light brown colour with a large, three -finger sized head that is a brownish white in appearance, foamy in texture and has very good retention.
Banana & clove flavours with some bubblegum. There is a bit of grain & alcohol in the taste too as a result of the 8.2% abv. but this doesn’t negatively affect the beer too much. There is a hint of caramel and a mild bitter end.
Smooth and well carbonated with a creamy, sweet feel to the drink and that it went down rather well.

This one had a good wheat taste with the caramel complimenting the banana, clove and bubblegum flavours very well in both taste and smell. It was a great beer and the huge 8.2% abv. was mostly very well hidden.

Bottle from Peckham’s Union Square, Aberdeen. It pours cloudy dark brown, with a thin tan head. The nose is fruit cake, spice, banana and currant. The taste is caramel, toffee, Scottish tablet, spice, banana, currant, plum, fruit cake, molasses and wood, with a fruity finish. Full body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Tasty stuff.

Poured from a 500ml bottle from the LCBO. Cloudy dark amber color with tall, but not long lasting foamy head.  Aroma is sweet, wheat, bananas, toffee and spice. Flavor follows the aroma, with noticeable dried fruit, figs, alcohol and fizzy carbonation. Nice lingering slightly sweet aftertaste.

Mahogany red in color... Aroma of cloves, toasted bread... Flavor is bready and wheaty, with sweet notes of banana and caramel... Very easy to drink, very enjoyable....
