Deep and complex – for big and relaxing moments by the fire.

Dark-ruby colored wheat doppelbock with a creamy fine head. Strong notes of ripe bananas, raisins and plums meet liquorice and roasty aromes. Full-bodied and warming, with a well-balanced and smooth finish. The ideal companion for hearty roast meat, venison and also fruity chocolate desserts, “Kaiserschmarrn” (pancakes), “Elisenlebkuchen” (christmas cookies) or blue cheese.

Oldest wheat doppelbock of Bavaria. Since 1907. 18.5°

500ml bottle poured into a large wheat glass. Pours a shade lighter than most colas with a live two finger head and no lacing. Aroma and taste are banana, brown sugar, spices, and roasted malts. Finish is clean and drying due to the carbonation. Surprisingly, no alcohol burn even though it’s 8% abv.

Botella 50 cl. Color castaña apagado, espuma beige poco persistente. Aromas a plátano maduró, ciruelas, compota de frutas, maltas tostadas y levadura, cola. Cuerpo cremoso un poco pegajosa carbo media baja, de burbuja gorda. Frutal y dulce con final mas seco donde la levadura domina.

Butterscotch in colour, butterscotch in taste. Very good beer, fizzy. Dark purple brown is very special colour, very natural look. So much taste in weiss! Powerful in alcohol, powerful in everything.

Bottle. Dark brown, almost ruby hue with big but fast disapearing cream colored head. Lots of cloves, brown sugar, brown bread, Indian spices, massala, honey. Medium sweet with hint of tart fruits and light sicy bitter finish. Medium to full bodied with lovely creamy feel, light alcohol presence and carbonation a bit on the high side. Very nice.
