4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 hredwolf (26) - RUSSIA - MAY 13, 2013
Had if from both keg and bottle and I like keg version more. Taste is complex with little sourness - raisins, caramel, banana, etc. World classic.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Hanuta06 (140) - Washington, USA - MAY 13, 2013
Serving: from bottle--purchased at Allendörfer.
Aroma: lightly yeasty-soapy aroma.
Appearance: large, rocky, off-white, initial head with fair lacing and mostly lasting longevity. Hazy, dark-amber to light-brown body.
Taste: moderately sweet, caramel malty initial flavor and heavily to harshly sweet finish with long duration.
Palate: medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation and alcholic finsih feel.
Overall: Yuk. Aroma didn’t pique my interest, but appearance was great and made up for the aroma. Then it was time to taste . . . and yuk. This stuff was too sweet for me. I wouldn’t drink it again.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 jeremyh70 (344) - Missouri, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Pours a hazy hazelnut brown with two fingers of tan head and decent lacing. Aroma of sweet fruit such as banana and apple with clove spiciness and a nice wheat and yeast smell. Taste follows nose with banana, tart apples and quite a bit of clove. A hint of brown sugar and the wheat comes through. Mouthfeel is smooth and medium bodied with medium/high carbonation. Very pleasant, semi sweet and easy drinking. The higher ABV is hidden well.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Armadill0 (34) - FINLAND - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle. Dark brown with a thick light brown foam. Aroma is strong with banana laced with chocolaty dark syrup.
Taste is sweetish and has ripe banana cocoa and a malty note to it. Bit too alcoholic on the aftertaste.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 JanLaursen (2145) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2013
Tap qt Bryggens Ølbar. Murky, murky light brownish with a small off white and quite some carbonation. Fruity banana nose, wheaty, yeasty, spicy with light notes of dades, citrus and maybe even peach. Flavor is sweet, vineous and wheaty and basically follows the nose with notes of cloves in the warming, slightly alcoholic finish. Full body, extremely sticky texture. Well crafted German wheat, but better suited for a dark winter night than a sunny spring in Copenhagen.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Cunningham (2971) - Halden, NORWAY - MAY 7, 2013
Appearance: Hazy amber color with a fine big off white head, that leaves a nice lacing. Aroma: Wheat, light banana, mild fruity and some alcohol. Palate: Medium + body. A bit sweet, and a mild bitterness. Rich carbonation. Taste: Wheat, fruity, banana and some alcohol. Overall impression: A tasty and nice weizen bock. The alcohol was a bit sticky a first. But ended up more pleasant and warming. Personal stats: Bottle from Utobeer Market Stall in London, England.
