Bottle from Asahiya. Thick banana aroma, yeast, some syrupy sugar. Thick muddy reddish-brown, solid creamy off-white head. Warm light fruitiness: bananas, raisins; spicy cloves and maybe cinnamon; a bit of sourness to round it all off. Medium body. Great stuff. The 8.2% alc. is hardly noticeable -- until after a half glass or so.

Bought a 500ml bottle at Bert’s Bierhuis. Aroma of cacao, bananas, fruits and some herbs. Has a hazy dark brown color and a cream colored head, carbonation is simply perfect. Sweet taste of herbs, bananas, caramel, cacao and a little bitter and alcohol on the aftertaste. Overall the best Weizen Bock so far. And after Tap 5 the second best of Schneider.

Pours a sewerage mucky brown. Aroma huge belgium yeast banana sweet note and cheese soy notes. Taste is has a licorice root beer belgium yeast note followed with some barnyard funk and vanilla and banana notes also a sirloin steak note. Medium mouth feel wet finish. At over 12% abv is completely hidden. Extremly complex difficult beer to dissect. Extraordinary brew!

Color caoba oscuro. Aromas dulces y ligeramente ácidos. En boca entra con un dulzor ligero que acaba con una acidez moderada y agradable.

On tap at the Bräuhaus. Dark, hazy brown pour. Huge creamy head with plenty of lacing. Malty, bready aroma with a hint of banana. Big banana taste with a nice toast note. Sweet finish but not cloying. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had if from both keg and bottle and I like keg version more. Taste is complex with little sourness - raisins, caramel, banana, etc. World classic.

Serving: from bottle--purchased at Allendörfer. Aroma: lightly yeasty-soapy aroma. Appearance: large, rocky, off-white, initial head with fair lacing and mostly lasting longevity. Hazy, dark-amber to light-brown body. Taste: moderately sweet, caramel malty initial flavor and heavily to harshly sweet finish with long duration. Palate: medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation and alcholic finsih feel. Overall: Yuk. Aroma didn’t pique my interest, but appearance was great and made up for the aroma. Then it was time to taste . . . and yuk. This stuff was too sweet for me. I wouldn’t drink it again.

Pours a hazy hazelnut brown with two fingers of tan head and decent lacing. Aroma of sweet fruit such as banana and apple with clove spiciness and a nice wheat and yeast smell. Taste follows nose with banana, tart apples and quite a bit of clove. A hint of brown sugar and the wheat comes through. Mouthfeel is smooth and medium bodied with medium/high carbonation. Very pleasant, semi sweet and easy drinking. The higher ABV is hidden well.
