Deep and complex – for big and relaxing moments by the fire.

Dark-ruby colored wheat doppelbock with a creamy fine head. Strong notes of ripe bananas, raisins and plums meet liquorice and roasty aromes. Full-bodied and warming, with a well-balanced and smooth finish. The ideal companion for hearty roast meat, venison and also fruity chocolate desserts, “Kaiserschmarrn” (pancakes), “Elisenlebkuchen” (christmas cookies) or blue cheese.

Pours dark brown with a coffee head that leaves some lacing. Smell- Dark fruits and spices. Tastes- Not to be dramatic here but this is probably one of the best tasting beers I have ever had. Fruity and spicy up front with some lingering spiciness. There is some banana/bubblegum sweetness that mixes really well with the spiciness. There is also a slight hint of vanilla on the backend. I have never had a beer that prominently features the warming sensation of alcohol but manages to not have it overtake the other flavors. Mouthfeel- Creamy full body. Overall- Wow, this is a great beer. The first one I tried from this brewery but I will be back for more. A nice cold weather beer. Try it and then try it again.

500 ml bottle. Very dark amber color with creamy white head. Fantastic smell! Cream, yeast, wheat and caramelized malts, also banana. For resuming this beer, guys, now i feel like a grandfather of the countryside germany that has seen all his family grow and is going to die in peace soon. What a beer! The palate is just perfect, I cannot describe how good this is, makes me feel in peace and good with myself. A beer to makes you believe in humankind and in greatness.

0,5 l bottle. Real brown and unclear in the glass, smaller head. Clove and yeast on the nose, not a lot. Taste starts with way more volume. Dark wheaty, yeast, banana, dry. Fruity with an alcoholic bitterness. Later some vanilla hints. A good one but not straight to the roof top.

Wheat texture. Sweet and spicy. Bock taste. Slight fruit background perhaps dates or raisins. Paired well with banh-mi style chicken sandwich.

Cerveja de cor castanho claro, meio acobreada e turva. Aroma com forte presença de caramelo/toffe e alcool muito forte. Alto acidez no sabor e médio amargor. Cerveja de textura muito adstringente e aquecimento alto, devido aos seus 8,2% de graduação alcoolica.

Clásico. Rico aroma tostado, espaciado... Sabor complejo, lleno de matices, pasas, frutas, especias, chocolate.. Absolutamente suave en la boca. Esconde perfectamente el alochol

Had a sample at World of Beer Fest in Milwaukee. Pours dark reddish brown with small head. Taste is very sweet, but is not annoyingly sweet. Perfect dessert beer.

Dark cloudy amber in color with high off-white head. Aroma of malt, yeast and banana. Taste is strong sweet with thick texture. You can taste alcohol, but it’s not too much. Very nice beer.
