Pours a hazy dark golden bronze with a an airy white head. Aroma of spicy clove, some sweet banana esters and a touch of bready German yeast. Body is fairly full and wheaty sweet with some peppery clove spice and doughy flavors toward a slightly more bitter noble hop finish. Well-balanced and pretty drinkable.

500 ml bottle from bevmo. This is the Organic version. Pours a cloudy unfiltered gold color with an ample white head that slowly fades to a thin film. The aroma is very reminiscent of a Belgian wit rather than a German Hefe. The aroma is strong with notes of wheat and cloves and something funky. The flavor mirrors the aroma--there is plenty of cloves, light wheat and a touch of banana. The mouthfeel is full and slightly soapy. The Finish is long with lingering cloves and cinnamon. Overall: this is a first rate hefe--Recommended.

22 oz certified organic bottled poured, coppery yellow with a big white pillowy head, tons of carbination, Aromas of wonderful belgium yeast bananas, some nice bread dough. Clean pallot bubbles roll of the tounge, flavors of light wheat, lightly sweet, not much hops, this is a great hefeweizen, I wish i would of found it closer to summer it would of been my go to beer.

Certified USDA Organic version purchased from A Southern Season. Pours a light yellow color with a heavy fog of cloudiness. Smell of bananas and malt. The label reads organic Cascade Hops; however, I do not taste them. The taste is wheat, banana, and malt. Thin finish, but a thicker aftertaste. Sticky head.

purchased at puget sound wine cellar in port orchard, washington. pour is semi-cloudy golden yellow with a small white head, above average carbonation. smell is wheat, popcorn, touch of citrus, bit of banana, yeast. taste is very nice, wheat, citrus hiding in the background, tingles the tongue and ends nice and dry, way in the background there is a hint of spice. this brew is nice, just a touch of sweetness to it, i’m very impressed, a must.
