Organic version in 500mL bottle. Unsure how this differs from non-organic version. Pours with huge, foramy white head, looks delicious. Dark amber/golden color with lots of bubbles. Bannana and vanilla notes in the smell and hearty wheaty and yeasty tones are present as well. Tastes of yeasty, bready flavors but there are subtle hints of spice and citrus zest too. But in the end the flavor is a little muted. There is a little bit of a warming effect from the alcohol. The body is not heavy or too lilght, and a good balance and mouthfeel for the style. Overall a pretty good beer, and good for a hot day.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a nice thick white head. The aroma is of wheat, some clove, and citrus fruits. The taste is sweet with some malts in there follwed by the citrus fruits. The orange and banana flavors come through and are very good. Has a nice mouthfeel and a real smooth finish. A great hefeweizen.

Robe blonde paille voilée surmontée d’une mousse blanche épaisse qui persiste. Arômes de bananes et de levures. Saveurs de bananes, de citron, de blé et de levures. Texture crémeuse.

Bottle. aroma of malt, citrus, yeast, vinager. Taste of vinager, malt. yeast. The hefe definately set the tone for this beer. Great blend of hefe malt and hallentauer hops. Bit of a vinious edge. Quick finish. Disappointed that this beer did not keep its head longer and have a longer finish. Still, very refreshing and good. i would drink this one again.

This had a very malt dominated aroma. The taste was also dominated by malt.Tasted more like a Bock style than a wheat. Not a bad drink, though.I was just expecting a wheat style beer.Flavor has a somewhat biting ,spicy, twisted malt wheat flavor.Palate was average.Kind of flat finish. It finished like you were wanting something more and were let down.Still better than most beers. There are several wheat beers that are much better than this.

In bottle at Palmer Place in LaGrange IL. A decent hefe-- all the traditional flavor. It just felt like a weaker version of the Schneider Original Weiss, which is an outstanding hefe.
