Bottled 500ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. Murky orange coloured, big off-white head, banana and cloves in the nose. Sweet malty, wheaty and yeasty with notes of cloves, banana and mild alcohol. Rather sweet and spicy finish. Really pleasant and nice.

500ml bottle at home. Opaque yellow pour, generous white head, high carbonation. Classic banana and clove, touch of peppery yeast. Taste brings a sour, lactic note to things, which cleans the palate beautifully after drinking. Very nice.

Creamy crown. Classic weissbier aroma: foam banana, yeast, light toast, and flowers. A bit crud and straightforward maybe. Taste of cardboard, pencil, wood, light bread, and sour fruit. A bit lame when it comes to the aftertaste.

Beer to Schneider Weisse glass. The pour is a cloudy tarnished gold with a large white top that diminishes over time. Aroma brings sour apple, horse blanket, very slight grassyness, citrus fruit and slight banana. Taste is similar to the aroma but backed by the typical hefe flavours of cloves, bread, wheat, and backed with sour apple and hints of earthyness. Palate is fairly dry, quite fizzy, flavours well in balance, though it seems to have a very slight powdery quality to it.

Overall, I like this better than the standard Weisse beer offered by Schneider. More complexity and the sour notes are interesting. Feels like a cross between a lambic and hefe...great stuff!

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe (£2.79):
Citrus lemon notes upfront with plenty of wheat, yeast and coriander as always with this style of beer. There is some lively orange zest and some banana too although this quite faint and definitely not as strong as with some other German hefeweizens and there is some spice right at the end.
Cloudy yellow to amber with a 2-fingers tall, white and foamy head that has great retention, leaving some nice lacing too.
Wheat and light coriander to begin along with some banana that comes across stronger than it did with the aroma. There is some light spice coming through along with some citrus flavours and a slightly floral taste and the tiniest hint of alcohol right at the end as well.
Medium bodied and soft with a very smooth feel with good carbonation and a touch of fizz. Touches of creaminess and very easy to drink.

An excellent beer as I expected, one of the best I’ve tried from the brewery although they have all been good for the most part. A little stronger than usual for the style but a nice change up and one I’d have again.

Mine poured almost Kristallweisen with a hint of haze. Fizzy head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of yeasty esters, clove, a bit of bubblegum. Flavor is big bubblegum followed by a touch of lemon and spice. Great fizzy mouthfeel. Awesome

500 ml bottle into weizen glass, bottled on 2/21/2013. Pours hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big orange zest, pear, apple, banana, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, light bubblegum, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of malt, hop, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of big orange zest, banana, pear, apple, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, light bubblegum, floral, grass, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of orange, banana, pear, apple, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, light bubblegum, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance, complexity, and robustness of malt, hop, and yeast ester flavors; with a great balance of malt/spiciness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, smooth, and moderately crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent hefeweizen. All around great balance, complexity, and robustness of malt, hop, and yeast flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle from Kulovy Blesk. Cloudy pale yellow, large, creamy white head, like beaten eggwhite. Yeasty and wheaty, not as Hop-accented as expected. Nevertheless, a smooth and pleasant beer.

Pszenica troszkę intensywniej chmielona niż zwykła, troszkę mocniejsza i wreszcie troszkę lepsza niż inne. W zapachu nuty bananowe, drożdżowe charakterystyczne dla stylu. W smaku oprócz wyżej wymienionych nut dochodzi niezła goryczka, nieco szorstka, nadająca sznyt łagodnej, owocowej całości. Ekstremalnie pijalne i świetnie ułożone.
