Exclusively brewed in reminiscence of Georg Schneiders privilege of being part of the world famous Munich Octoberfest until 1942 when his renowned "Weisse Brauhaus im Tal, Munich" was destroyed. Enjoy and celebrate!
: Ingredients: water, organic wheat malt, organic barley malt, organic Cascade hops, organic Hallertauer hops, and yeast.

kkarpfen (33) - - JUN 3, 2015
Bottle from Humulus et Fermentum, Heisdorf. Pours a hazy golden yellow with typical weizen head and yeast clouds in the glass. Nose is yeasty, cloves, fruits, flour, lemon. Taste is surprisingly bitter and hoppy, followed by malty sweetness. Finish is again bitter, somewhat orangy. Mouthfeel is smooth and silky. Very interesting weizen, very atypical, but good.

From the Weisse Brauhaus. Very hazy orange color with big white extremely dense head. Nice hoppiness in addition to the original Weizen base. Aroma hops have been here! Some citrus, maybe litchi. Taste is Weizen with a very green grassy hop kick and a nice bitterness. Perfect silky mouthfeel. A pleasant Frühlingswiese/Grünzeug aftertaste. Nicely balanced, superb drinkability. Probably one of the most interesting Bavarian brews. It?s very different. I would not have thought that Schneider can still surprise me.

Bottle, 500mL. Home. A pale yellow beer with orange hues ; few bubbles ; medium white head with a poor retention. Herbal aroma, cereal, fruit (litchi, citrus), floral ; light clove and vanilla ; skunky. Medium sweet, light to medium dry bitter ; refreshing. Light body, thin texture, soft carbonation ; prickly ; dry fruity herbal finish. Overall, OK ; very drinkable ; refreshing ; a bit puzzled by this aroma ; I will have to taste another bottle to check this skunky note.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy golden brown with medium head, good lacing. Aromas of banana, cellar and fresh bread. Taste is fresh, well-balanced, good bitterness. Lots of carbonation, oily palate. Aftertaste is fresh and a bit bitter. Great weizze.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow-orange. Large, lively white head. Aroma is banana, yeast, bubblegum. Flavor is more bubblegum, banana, sweet beginning with a slightly bittering end. The head is less substantial feeling than it looks. Highly carbonated, but not sharp. Long lasting hop flavor that is a welcome addition to the German yeast styles. An excellent one from Schneider.

Bottle, traded with McTapps and MichaelAwesome, thanks! Quite aggressive, hop-forward (grassy) aroma, backed by clove and only little banana. Soft mouthfeel, not really intense in terms of flavour. Heavier than a regular hefe but then again - lacking the depth of a proper weizenbock. Quite nice but as a middle-ground beer not entirely convincing.

Dark gold with medium creamy head. Classic weissen aroma with notes of bread, banana and herbs. Very refreshing with some bitterness and some sweetness.
