Bottle. The pour was a murky brownish yellow with a large (2-3 finger) white frothy head that lasted a little while, reducing to a medium cap which created some excellent sheets of lacing. The aroma was of a light grain malt and a bold sweaty yeast with notes of citrus (lemon), banana, wheat and a bit of spice (clove and coriander). The taste was a tad sweet with a moderately strong citrus note early on, becoming rather wheat engulfed with a hint of banana, spice and was mildly acetic towards the end. The flavor lingered for a decent duration proceeding the swallow with a nice mild tart citrus wheat taste left to settle on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was a few steps above light in body and a bit watery in texture with a mildly strong carbonation. Overall a very impressive Organic Hefeweizen, one with a nice citrus banana taste and a slight appealing tartness at the finish. This is one of the best Organic brews I have had to date...

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow-orange. Large, lively white head. Aroma is banana, yeast, bubblegum. Flavor is more bubblegum, banana, sweet beginning with a slightly bittering end. The head is less substantial feeling than it looks. Highly carbonated, but not sharp. Long lasting hop flavor that is a welcome addition to the German yeast styles. An excellent one from Schneider.

Bottle, traded with McTapps and MichaelAwesome, thanks! Quite aggressive, hop-forward (grassy) aroma, backed by clove and only little banana. Soft mouthfeel, not really intense in terms of flavour. Heavier than a regular hefe but then again - lacking the depth of a proper weizenbock. Quite nice but as a middle-ground beer not entirely convincing.

Hazy, orange colour with medium head. Moderate aroma of banana, some cloves, some grassy bitterness and quite strong yeastness. Taste is medium sweet, low sour and low bitter. Over medium carbonation. Low to medium body. Not bad, but I’ve expected more.

This bloke down the Pig used to sell taps. Let’s call him Dave because that was his name. If he’d sold Tap 4 I’d have been more interested. Cracking beer. Tap that...and party.
