Reddish-amber colored, finished with top-fermenting yeast, this wheatbeer has a fine white, persistent head. It is distingushed by its typical top-fermenting character with a malty taste, reminding a bit of caramel. Being a non-alcoholic wheatbeer with plenty of healthy minerals, it is the ideal thirst-quenching drink for hot summer days and after sports.

[backlog] 01-03-16 // 500ml bottle at home. Pours a dark orange cloudy beer. Big foamy head. Creamy mouthfeel. Light yeasty. Sweet. Alcholfree off notes. Unfortunately not a good one.

Bottled from BierNavigatie.nl. Hazy orange-brown colored, fair off-white head. Yeasty nose, spicy, wheat and some hops. Somewhat bitter flavor, hops, not that much wheat, quite yeasty, some caramel. Certainly not the best example of an NA Hefeweizen.

Bottle at Schneider Bräuhaus. A lot less banana and clovers, but still some yeast aromas. Dirtier. Quite malty for a Weisse. Bready. Much better than other nonalcoholic beers.

Tap at brauhaus munchen. Tried out of curiosity as i had to reduce alcohol intake. Cloudy dark amber to nut color big offwhite head. Aroma is fresh unfermented malts and grains cereals cornflakes with lemon and some yeast. Light to medium body fairly dry finish. Flat taste lively carbonation. Was hoping for some magic but this failed as much as most alcohol-free beers will. But was quite drinkable after all.

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2016 Brzeczkowe, zbożowe. Nieco kwaskowe. Cech typowych dla weizenów praktycznie brak, może jakiś marny banan.

May ’16. A 0.5 l bottle. It poured a hazy deep golden body with a small head atop. Interestingly, pleasant banana and caramel aroma with no vegetable and other notes usually seen in an NA. Flavor was lightly sweet and lightly sour. Yeast, banana, touch of cornflakes and herbal hops. Thin bodied with a short chalky yeast finish. True, dull, watery, boring, but one of the best NAs I’ve tried actually.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Murky amber body with a medium white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of earth, tea and rust. Flavour of metal and watery grain. Thin to medium body with a watery texture. Soft for fizz. Weak and not particularly pleasant.
