3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 3, 2015 From the Weisse Brauhaus. Hazy pale orange color with white head. Aroma is light, more citrus than banana, still a bit spicy. Taste is light and refreshing. A bit straw, a bit tart. Light carbonation, silky texture. A session Weizen which is not even boring. Perfectly refreshing! It?s thin but that?s what it?s supposed to be I guess.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a clear golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is wheaty, subtle banana and vanilla touches. Flavor is very light, just as the name of this beer suggests. Light sweet, fruity, soft carbonation and rather dull to be honest. Meh, not so impressed by this one unfortunately.

50cl Bottle at Delirium Café. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of raw wheat, grain, citrus, cardboard, some banana. Flavour is wheat, citrus, grain, hint of spice, hint of banana, bitter finish. Watery, light, refreshing and tasty enough.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ home. Hazy pale yellow color, full sized white head. Smell and taste lightly wheat, slightly citrussy. Don’t get a lot more. Not bad though. A little thin texture but that was to be expected.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled 2013-2015/03, once in a while, as second-to-last preferable option before their Mein Alkoholfreies. A thinned out TAP 7, keeping the heavy clove phenols on a thinned out, post-bicycle tour apple juice palate. Not bad at all for a 3,3% beer, actually transporting some of the authentic yeast character of this excellent brewery. The heavy clove almost goes into Belgian pepper, aniseed and lavendar gear. Low banana. None of that aspartame of some light beers. / tip: these Tap beers, like Hefeweizen generally, are not too ideal for joint sampling, as pouring the yeast residu does make a substantial difference.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500 ml. bottle @ home. Procured from ABC Beers. Bottled on 13.06.2014. Nearly clear sparkling golden, solid egg-white head. Lightly moldy yeast nose, quite overripe peaches, esters & washing powder. Quite fizzy, floral, air refresher, artificial citrus taste, plaster, washing powder bitter, hay, hops. Interesting, quite a bit effervescent, seems not too far removed from the Kristall in taste, sifnificantly different from the regular one. Better than the score indicates in my opinion but given that the ABV difference with the Original is small by BE standards & neither are what I would call heavy beers, I sort of fail to see the point of this one. If there is a market why not I suppose but I just can see Schneider doing more.

Geruch stark nach Bitterorange, Nelke. Geschmack brotigen, aber relativ wässrig. Ganz schwach abgebrannt.
