May 14, 2009 500 ml bottle purchased at Royal Liquors in Kansas City. Pour is hazy, cloudy orange copper with a big thick white head. Head is really lasting. Aroma of fresh banana, clove, wheat graininess and a soft sweetness. Straight forward, fresh Hefe nose. Taste is the banana, wheat, clove and yeasty spiciness all really smoothly balanced together. Palate is creamy, carbonated, smooth - highly drinkable. Pleasant lingering slight sweet aftertaste. Nice Hefe.

May 6, 2009 Overall, not as good as the Aventinus, but a great Hefeweizen none the less. Aroma is malty and very fruity. Banana, citrus, apricot are all prevalent. Pour is hazy brownish orange colour. Taste is wheaty and very fruity. Slightly bitter aftertaste but not too bad. Nice.

May 4, 2009 Bottle @ Mulheim a/d Ruhr. A hazy yellow/brown colored beer, with a thich foamy white head. The aroma is malty with a lot a fruits, like citrus and bananas. It has a strong malty taste with fruits like bananas with orange and citrus. In the back are hops. The aftertaste is nice fruity with some bitter.

May 1, 2009 Pours deep, dark golden/orange. Big filmy off white head. Orange peel, banana and a slight herb on the nose. Flavour is dominated by fruity orange peel and some banana. Coriander shows but its quite subtle, adds another dimension. There is a medium bitterness which enhances the orange peel character. I got a lot more banana in the finish, which lasted for a fair while.
