Commercial Description:
With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

500 ml bottle purchased at Royal Liquors in Kansas City. Pour is hazy, cloudy orange copper with a big thick white head. Head is really lasting. Aroma of fresh banana, clove, wheat graininess and a soft sweetness. Straight forward, fresh Hefe nose. Taste is the banana, wheat, clove and yeasty spiciness all really smoothly balanced together. Palate is creamy, carbonated, smooth - highly drinkable. Pleasant lingering slight sweet aftertaste. Nice Hefe.

Overall, not as good as the Aventinus, but a great Hefeweizen none the less. Aroma is malty and very fruity. Banana, citrus, apricot are all prevalent. Pour is hazy brownish orange colour. Taste is wheaty and very fruity. Slightly bitter aftertaste but not too bad. Nice.

Pours deep, dark golden/orange. Big filmy off white head. Orange peel, banana and a slight herb on the nose. Flavour is dominated by fruity orange peel and some banana. Coriander shows but its quite subtle, adds another dimension. There is a medium bitterness which enhances the orange peel character. I got a lot more banana in the finish, which lasted for a fair while.
