COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

Pours a murky dark amber with a large white head that left a lacing on the glass. One of the darkest hefes I’ve seen. Smelled of hefe spiciness. Taste was a little less striking as other hefes, with less banana flavor and more general spiciness. Good moutfeel. Overall very refreshing and drinkable.

Orgasmic start, smooth flavor with nice crisp overtones of bright fruit flavors (banana, orange, apple), refreshing with a light finish of wheat flavoring. This is an excellent and clean implementation of the hefeweizen. This combines invigorating flavors with wheat overtones. Loving this right now, perfect example of German craftsmanship.

A very nice weisse. I put this one up there with Victory Sunrise Weiss as one of the best.

Bronze color. Perhaps darker than Ayinger Ur-Weisse. Nice white head. Nose of banana, cloves/spices. Refreshing mouthfeel. Yeast flavors throughout. One of the better weisse beers.

Pours a nice mahogany colour with a full creamy head. Aroma has notes of yeast and esters. Taste is very yeasty, and full bodied.

Cloudy amber, big off-white head. Yeasty, spicy aroma; coriander rather than cloves. Flavor much like the aroma. Very slight grassy bitterness. Fairly light body.

Hazy golden color, light yeasty banana citrus aroma and fresh taste, medium body, sparkeling finish.

Bottle. Large rocky off-white lasting head with good lacing. Sparkling cloudy amber/orange. Aroma yeast/biscuit/banana/pear/peach/bubblegum/clove/va Medium creamy mouthfeel with long finish, a little chalky, but not too much. Apple and blackcurrant notes in mouth which I didn’t notice in the aroma. Tasted alongside Erdinger Hefeweizen. This wins.

Orange, corriander, some yeast, citrus nose. Lively citrus, wheat, yeastiness, apple (vanilla?) Nice smooth mouthfeel

Bottle. A decent hefe, but not enough. I prefer franziskaner hefe, even if its a little too carbonated. Anyway, medium dark brown, darker than most hefe’s. Smells light and refreshing. But the flavor falls a little flat. Not on my list to try again unless nothing else decent is available.
