With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

When you pour that bottle of Schneider Weiss into your glass you just know that this beer is special. It’s a wheat beer but is quite dark in appearance. Very pleasant to look at. Also very pleasant to smell since it has a really pungent yeasty-citrus aroma that translates well into how the beer tastes. Very easy to drink and quite tasty.

Draught, a cloudy light gold with a foamy white head. A wheat and citrus fruit aroma. A surprisingly creamy palate behind a sour tartness, quite flavourless though apart from a little bit of citrus. Expect I would rate it higher from the bottle.

One of the best weizens i have had. Aroma is nice, with a very light hops smell. Appearance is dark brown which is rare for a hefe. Mouthfeel is smooth and has a little after taste and a bit of acidic values. Flavor is packed with hefe-goodness.

As soon as you pour it, you know it’s going to be an excellent beer. Dark amber colour with very nice creamy head. Sweet sensations of spices and fruits.

(500mL bottle): Pous a huge, creamy off-white heap, decent lacing, lasting. Brown color, very cloudy. Floral wheaty aroma, some alcohol. Light, malty flavor, watery. .Some of that wheat in the taste, some grapefruit. Watery, not too compex a flavor. A light session beer.

Very dark for a hefe with the large foamy head typical of the style. Nice wheat flavours; banana and a strong trace of cloves. A very good hefe.

Large long-lasting head & a copper hazy body. Some phenols in the aroma, bubblegum, cloves, the usual suspects. The wheat is nicely balanced with the (quite strong) malt backing. Very citric & refreshing. Definitely on the dry side. Medium mouthfeel, medium/light carbonation. A good weisse!
