Banana cake, roasted nuts aroma. Nice crispy honey cereals, decent fruitiness, clean finish. One of the most solid German weissen for sure.

bottle. Deep amber with three finger head. Lightly tart. Quite a bit of banana but virtually no clove. It’s tasty, but nowhere near the best hefes I’ve had (Franziskaner and Weihenstephaner).

50cl bottle. Hazy orange/brown with medium head.
NOSE : strong banana with spices, tart, strong yeast, dough.
SIP : medium body with good carbonation. Creamy texture. Sweet with aromas of banana and spices in the background. Sweet grains play the main role till the end. Banana and yeast notes make the surface further on. Bitter and little sour notes are delicate. Finish is mostly mild with dominating notes of spices and yeast.
OVERALL : It’s easy to drink and it makes a great example of this style. Good mouth feel.

Cloudy dark chestnut brown - considerably darker than most wheat beers; thick white lasting head; fairly neutral aroma of malt, wheat; taste is classic banana / clove; the textbook wheat beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours amber-brown with small head. Not very notable aroma, but still some yeast, wheat, bread and fresh fruit as expected. Pleasant, unsurprisingly bananas, sweet malt, yeast tasting. Mild bitterness and citrus. Lively, high level of carbonation. Refreshing and enjoyable.

Ok brew. A good weizen for a mass produced export. Aroma is weak but delicious and flavor is wheat and yeast.

Like liquid golden bread, drinking it is like being in a bakery, fresh aroma to yeast and flour, flavour like muesli. An authentic gem.
