With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

500ml bottle. Pours a murky brown with a big white head that fades down to a crown of foam in less than a minute. Aroma is yeast, banana. Taste is banana, malt, a good balance of sweet and sour. Feels good in the mouth. Another good one from Schneider.

This here is a fairly tasty brew with no real sentient qualities. I have found it pretty rare that a beer smells better than it taste but this is one of those occasions. It is the colour of a newly minted penny, a white fizzy head that buggers off and the wee-est bit o’ haze. It smells freaking delicious, like a fine Belgian beer decided to bake a spicy apple pie, jump into it, and then roll around in some honey and wheat. Maybe it’s the low carbonation and dead mouthfeel that does this, but the flavour just isn’t there in the same manner. Would I snarf again? Yea! Would it be myself purchasing said snarf? Nay!

Perfect thick white persistent froth, dark amber colour. Very spicy, mutgmeg, clove, just a hint of banana. On the palate a good balance of sweet, sour and bitter, not too fat. Bottle, by the way.

Very crisp and refreshing. Citrus taste with some bitterness at the end. Leaves a dry feeling on the tounge afterwards that leaves you wanting more. Nice ale to relax with in the summer time.

Poured into a weizen glass in late 2013. A: Opaque brown. Slight head. S: Lemon, citrus, wheat. T: Lemon, wheat, somewhat spicy yeast. Also has a roasty character like a dunkel. Tiny bit of banana too. M: Has quite a bit of carbonation with bubbles coming up after I sip. O: This was a confusing hef. Everything seemed to point more towards a dunkelweizen. It was also more subtle in flavor than other hefs.
