With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

Sample c4. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma yeast, fruity, banan, spice. Taste is very yeasty, undertones if malts, fruit.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2015 From tap. Excellent! Pours cloudy dark, almost brown, with a thick white foam. The taste is crisp, including subtle notes of banana, citrus and cloves. Probably the best Weißbier I’ve tasted.

Light crisp fruity smell, weird brownish cidery appearance, taste isn’t as fruity or as sweet as expected...drier....malty, no hop bitterness...slightly watery

A 500ml bottle with a best before date of 28th February 2016 and poured into a Riedel weizen glass. It poured a cloudy bronze copper colour with a slightly less than two finger white head that dissipated slowly without too much lacing. Aromas were sweet, approaching overripe bananas and clove dominating with hints of bubblegum, caramel, toffee and maybe even pear. The toffee becomes even more pronounced as it warms a bit. Taste wise, banana bread is the first thing that comes to mind, but its definitely sweet banana and toffee with hints of clove and caramel while nutty on the finish. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Overall, a very nice hefeweizen that I would definitely buy again.

Flasche und Fass. Helles kastanienfarbenes Weissbier mit luftigem, feinperligem Schaum. Starker Hefeduft mit Kräuter und Fruchtnoten. Geschmack auch sehr hefig. Brot und Getreidenoten, dann fruchtig. Sehr gut passt dazu Käse!

Sexy veiled pure amber color. Gorgeous beige head with good lacing. Lots of activity. Sweet aromas and flavors of fruit and wheat. Nutty and slightly spicy. Extremely flavorful and balanced taste, complex and delicate, but a little too faint. Slightly too light for my taste, still slick and prickly. Very short finish with good intensity, ending of the bitter side. Overall an excellent beer, but a little too light compared to others of the same brand. More enjoyed TAP 6.

Wild honey coloured beer with a big, medium-lasting, creme-coloured head. Aromas of light banana, clove, butter, honey, wheat, peach and orange peel . Taste is clovy with some fruity hops, orange peel and some cereals. Light to medium bitter and light sour finish. Light body, soft carbonation, slick texture. Not my favorite Schneider Weisse.
