COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with airy but stable white head. Grainy and hoppy aroma. Well balanced flavour of malty sweetness and grainy acidity. Nice, dry aftertaste. Very good.

One of the best Hefeweizen around. Rather strong. Medium dark amber, though it counts as a "Helles Hefeweizen". Just nice!

500 mL from Central Market. Very bready and leaves a thick coating on the back of my throat. Aftertaste is not the most pleasant but does not stick around long. Smells appropriate for a hefe but looks beautiful. Though not translucent, certainly much less opaques than I would have expected.

Keg at BrewDog Birmingham; mahogany pour with foam off white head, apple and clove aroma, taste is quite sweet almost pear drop, clove is present OK
