Very disappointing. When I read another review saying it poured out like river water I thought that was a joke. Sadly not. It reminds me of home brew that has not got it right and it has nearly a year left according to the bottle's date. Disappointing, a bit like poor English beer from the 70s.

Keg at brewdog Birmingham. Pours like Thames river water! Muddy brown, thin head. Aroma is very nice though, banana, clove, lemon. Taste is on the sweeter side, with the spice turning to a black pepper note. Medium bodied with a nice long finish. Lovely beer.

Pours oddly dark for a hefe; cloudy brown leather in color. Wonderful aroma of peach, cherry and some spice; hint of cloves and cinnamon. Dry champagne like on the palate with a spicy fruitcake aftertaste. Overall... deeeelish! Thanks to Dandman629 for the bottle direct from Germany.

Bottle. The colour is hazy amber with a light beige, medium head on top. Fruity and rich aroma with banana, sweet berries, yeast, spices and some wood. The flavour follows up with more spices, lemon and some berry sourness in the background. Slick and smooth mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A rich and tasteful hefeweizen. Delicious.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2013 Delicious! Cloudy appearance, not much of an aroma, but smoothe and almost creamy for a wheat beer. A bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

Bottle from National Brewery Centre, Burton. Hazy amber beer with a lively head that reduces to a thin head. Aroma of cloves and banana. Taste is cloves and other spices, yeast and a little dry bitterness. Quite light on the palate. Ok beer, but I was expecting more from one of my favourite breweries.

Description has it right with the amber-mahogany color. Large foamy off white head. Good looking beer. Strong cloves in the aroma as well as yeast and mild banana. Tastes just like it smells pretty much. Mild sweetness in the flavor. Full body, and easily drinkable. Very smooth, minimal bitterness. Yeast flavor is strong in this one and it lingers on. Good beer. This beer or the Paulaner could be my go to beer for drinkability.
