With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

Bottle in Bern. Cloudy brown pour with a big white frothy head. Big fruit and wheat aroma with a slight sourness in the taste. What can I say. This beer was not overflowing with flavour thats for sure. I drank it with five other friends and they were not complimentary either. It was fine to drink once, but I wont go out of my way to find it again. I find its relatively high rating quite surprising.

Pours a dark gold colour with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Has small white bubbles and an inviting clarity . Notes of wheat malt in the nose with a lack of hop character . Has some floral notes in the nose due to its wheat malt Has a sweet malt character with flavours of licorice and bubblegum in the finish.has a creaminess on the palate and a nice evervecence due to its high level of carbonation. No apparent hop character but a strong wheat malt presence. .overall a sweet, malty beer with some notes of fruity esters that are typical for me of wheat beers. Nice and clear for a hef, this is Avery tasty example.

Shared a 50cl bottle from alldrink (Trier). Pours a cloudy orangish yellow colour with a creamy white head. Aroma is deep banana, clove and yeast. Average carbonation and medium and almost a creamy full body. Taste is very balanced a bit acidic and with a bitter finish. Overall, a very delicious and refreshing weissbier that I will certainly drink again.

Bottle. Pours clear dark brown with a finger thick creamy head. Aroma is fruity yeast with cloves, banana and some berries. Medium body with average carbonation. Flavour is sweet and with a somewhat strange burned presence, as well as the yeast with all its fruitiness and berries.

From bottle. Absolutely beautiful in glass. Cloudy, dark wheat color. Nice white head. Lightly perfumed, with a malt forward aroma rounded out with small banana notes. Taste is very crisp and refreshing, and slightly sour, making this a highly quaffable hefeweizen. Flavors from sour dough bread, hints of cloves (though much less than expected for style), and a long, subtle banana finish. Very well balanced and nicely carbonated. This is an order by the 2L kind of beer.

Karamellbrun med fint hvitt skum. Aroma av modne bananer, sitron og gjær. Frisk, god sødme og lengde. God weissbier, ikke for kunstig.

500 ml bottle, compared back to back with 3 other top rated hefes. Pours cloudy dark amber, with large creamy and clumpy, mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is malts, yeast, canned corn, musty, basement aroma, different from the other 3 beers, feels old-school and somehow reminds me of my dad. Taste is similar to the aroma, less sweet, acidic, with a slightly bitter finish. Very creamy and full bodied, with soft carbonation. This one was quite a surprise.

Nice, medium-light, aromatic beer. Has a fruity after-taste but not overpowering.
