COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

I was very surprised that it was very pleasant in the bottle. Unlike other beers such as Erdinger which I really like on tap but can’t stand in the bottle, this is one that I would actually buy at the store.

From the Germany trip 2010: enjoyed in Bonn in a beer garde with loads of students. Had it many tiemes since. A perfec German Hefeweizen. Fruity, full bodied and refreshing.

33cl bottle at the Golf Bar in the ITC Hotel, Delhi, India. Poured into a tulip glass. Reddish amber colour with a medium sized head which slowly dissipates. Fruity aroma. Taste of fruit - citrus and banana. Light bitterness I need the aftertaste.

Perfect thick white persistent froth, dark amber colour. Very spicy, mutgmeg, clove, just a hint of banana. On the palate a good balance of sweet, sour and bitter, not too fat. Bottle, by the way.

Very crisp and refreshing. Citrus taste with some bitterness at the end. Leaves a dry feeling on the tounge afterwards that leaves you wanting more. Nice ale to relax with in the summer time.

Poured into a weizen glass in late 2013. A: Opaque brown. Slight head. S: Lemon, citrus, wheat. T: Lemon, wheat, somewhat spicy yeast. Also has a roasty character like a dunkel. Tiny bit of banana too. M: Has quite a bit of carbonation with bubbles coming up after I sip. O: This was a confusing hef. Everything seemed to point more towards a dunkelweizen. It was also more subtle in flavor than other hefs.

Uma característica marcante de trigo porém bem equilibrada no amargor, boa densidade da espuma e bem equilibrada no geral.

banana nose, thickening into bubble-gum sweetness, hints of cloves/nutmeg. Nice and mild weizen-taste, with banana/clove/nutmeg esters again, a bit watery in back-palate. Light sourness. A burnt plastic note in its fade out. Was expecting more...
