With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

Description has it right with the amber-mahogany color. Large foamy off white head. Good looking beer. Strong cloves in the aroma as well as yeast and mild banana. Tastes just like it smells pretty much. Mild sweetness in the flavor. Full body, and easily drinkable. Very smooth, minimal bitterness. Yeast flavor is strong in this one and it lingers on. Good beer. This beer or the Paulaner could be my go to beer for drinkability.

Lightly hazed copper pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is brown sugar, clove, and light fruity esters. Flavor is sweet malt start with clove on the front and banana esters come through followed by a flat bitter finish from the wheat. Medium bodied with aggressive carbonation and a touch of slickness.

500 ml bottle
Murky dark orange to brown beer with blonde head. Aroma is sweet with ripe banana, vanilla and toffee. Also some bready maltiness. Flavor is yeasty with banana, pear and toffee. Palate is thinner than medium and foamy. Finish has medium bite of bitterness. Aftertaste has slight alcohol, apple juice and dry yeastiness. Decent sweetish weizen, with some Belgian ale characters.

very clean and well-balanced taste, I think. darker colour than normal Hefe-weissen or weisse style beer. Usually I prefer Paulaner’s Hefe-Weissen. This should be included in my favorite Weisse style beers. I really enjoyed drinking this beer. Thank you.
