3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Piwo lekko metne w zlotym kolorze z biala dosc trwala piana. W aromacie sa dojrzale owoce jak mango, brzoskwinie i cytrusy. W smaku jest na pewno dosc slodko i karmelowo, sa banany, pomarancze i drozdze. Wysycenie i goryczka na srednim poziomie. Alkohol pimimo sporej dawki wogole niewyczuwalny. Bardzo dobry przedstawiciel swojego gatunku.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Translucent, nearly opaque matte golden yellow with a mid sized white head that dissipates abruptly. Potent aroma with notes of peach, orange, citrus, yeast, caramel, and hops. Full bodied and eminently smooth. Initial taste is fruit forward peach and orange coalescence with perhaps vanilla as well, and finish is a rather sweet citrus vanilla flavour accompanied by a slight hop. Robust and flavourful, but slightly too sweet and malty for my liking.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A 500ml bottle with a best before date of 1st February 2017 and poured into a Riedel weizen glass. It poured a rather dull and cloudy orange copper colour with a two finger white head that had decent retention and eventually settled to a thin creamy layer and left nice lacing. Aromas were strong floral and herbal notes with orange pith and orange peel and a touch of bready malts. Tastes quite similar to the aroma with strong orange pith and orange juice flavours followed by grapefruit, floral, herbal and grass with a hint of spice, mango and bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall I can see why others might enjoy Tap 5, but for me, I’m on the fence with this one; maybe even leaning slightly towards buying it again as it is very easy to drink and does not feel anywhere near the 8.2% abv. My main conflict was the strong floral aromas and flavours which were not my favourite.

Keg @ Salt Horse, Edinburgh. (Ratings backlog) - Pours orange and hazy. Nose is tropical fruits, heavy lilt vibes. Taste is more hoppy than i expected from the nose big resin, orange, toffee, spicy, pepper, banana, cloves also a touch of smoke right at the back end.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Deep hazy golden orange pour. Thick and attractive lasting head - bright white.
Aroma is straight forward citrus and alcoholic fruit. Complex wheat. Mango. Alcohol.
The first thing I taste is medium alcohol followed by a crisp bitterness. Very appealing flavor - there’s a lot there.
Very easy to drink - light clean feeling on the palate.
Great beer, will certainly drink it again.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Orange color with haze and long head. Interesting hoppy aroma with notes coming from the wheat: clove and fruity. Balanced taste, maybe a bit sweet. Medium body with a really nice mouthfeel. Really good beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Very cloudy apricot pour with a white head. Aroma is rich and fruity, citrus, mango, nectarine, some slight alcohol presence. Taste is rich and fruity as well, some tropical fruits, mango, touch of citrus, some spices, slightly herbal as well, lots going on. A really flavourful and complex beer, especially for the style. Easily one of the best German wheat beers I’ve had.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Schneider Brauhaus, Muchen. Cloudy yellow color, big persistent lacing creamy white head. Great smell with loads of hops, spices, soap, alcohol. Aroma is unexpectedly resembling a belgian tripel (Chimay) with light fruity notes (plum apricot peach) wheat yeast and spices (nutmeg, cinnamon) abundant hops maybe american lots of dough alcohol (dry-pen) soap/lavender. Taste is well balanced and ends up decisely bitter. Floral long finish mild dry alcoholic. Full body thick texture. This is a double IPA weizen wise, an heavy hit.

Bottle. Pours hazy darker golden thin lacing. Hoppy aroma, cloves, and bready. Medium sweet taste. Light to medium bitter finish. A bit of alcohol present on the tongue. Medium-light body. thin texture, a bit sticky. A strong wheat beer with good flavor, not my favorite type of wheat. .
