Heel hoppig, ruikt erg hoppig en smaakt zoet met veel alchol! Is een zware weizen met veel hop in de afdronk erg lekker!

500 ml bottle. Cloudy pale gold color topped by a rocky white head. Fragrant, fruity wheat malt aroma has hints of chamomile, sweet citrus and lavender. Sweet wheat malt flavor has a touch of mild sweet grapefruit and cloves. Finishes with a bittersweet spicy hoppiness. Very tasty.

50cl bottle. Glass: Weizen. Pours a yellow-orangish colour with substantial white froth. Hops, banana, and sugar on the nose. Strange taste: hoppy, herbal, banana sweetness, and some malts. Spicy bubbles. Medium mothfeel, average carbonation. Original, nothing incredible, but not bad.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2013 One of my favorite beers from visit in Germany. I was looking for some
kind of German IPA, tasted this- wow. Sweet malty profile with gigatonn of hops in aroma and flavor. Drunk from bottle, so no color. Only difference from ipa/dipa was that it was high carbonated. Very dry overall, liked that. And hops was more herbal than aromatic, but in a good way. Enjoyed every sap.

Tan buena está que es difícil clasificarla, blanca con extra de lúpulo y con amargor justo para llegar a un público mayor.

Really like this one, but not as much as the adventus. Good flavors, sticky and sugary. Almost like candy. Yeast is delightful flavor and body is enjoyable. Does not have the malt presence of the other weizen bocks that i have had. This seems more to me like a high alcohol hefe.

Pours hazy golden color with a medium sized head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, citrus fruits, some hops and grass. Flavor of wheat, mild yeast, some citrus fruits and hay. Very nice.

Great beer that is an interesting take on the style. Hoppier than the average German Hefe-weizen as the name implies. I get interesting floral smells from it not unlike an English IPA, but somewhat sweeter. Tasting notes are apricot, some citrus, and pear. Just delicious. The mouth-feel is thick as you would suspect from how cloudy the beer appears when poured. Small chunks of sediment float in the glass.
