Amazingly unique offering. Aroma: citrus, orange, wheat. Appearance: cloudy golden orange. Taste: almost a citrus fruit juice flavor, some yeast flavor. Palate: strong carbonation, slightly bitter. Overall: terrifically unique and drinkable.

Espuma algo bege, cor clara. Aroma cítrico. Presença de álcool e limão marcantes, doce no retrogosto com lúpulo. Excelente!

Dark golden colour, cloudy with a cream head. Tons of lemon on the nose. Quite sharp and creamy tastes a lot of citrus, no so much wheat.

a bottle from plonk. best before October 2015. small white head, amber pour. Hoppy aroma but I feel it’s dropped a lot with time, leaving a rich high alcohol initial sweetness hop aroma and flavour but just moderate bitterness. like s Loe bitterness aged imperial ipa syrup alcohol sweetness.

Aroma is citrus, lemon grass, hay, clove , and light sweet malts. Taste is fresh malts, clove , pine needle, passionfruit and light yeast. The fresh bitterness is very well balanced and finishes smoothly. Appearance is a cloudy gold with small sediment in suspension.

500 ml bottle from LCBO. Cloudy gold colour with white head. I smell banana, citrus hops, herbal notes, orange juice. Taste is well balanced between wheat and hop flavours. Juicy, bitter, unique.

110715. I’ve had this beer for a while but it is still a few months before the BBD of 13/10/15. Quite a high ABV at 8.2% for a German beer, don’t usually see them this high. Had this one sitting around the fire on a cold waters night. Cloudy and hazy looking with a massive head of puffy white foam. From the first sip you get a big hit of alcohol. The alcohol dulls whatever other flavours may be there. Strong banana and bubblegum aroma. When I poured the rest of the beer into the glass it was a really dirty muddy brown colour but it eventually settled and cleared. I didn’t really enjoy this as much as I have enjoyed the other Schneider & Sohn beers that I have had, not sure if it as the heavy alcohol taste or what. It was still okay just not great. I bought this bottle from The Wine Emporium at Newstead.

0,5 l bottle, two days before bb-date. Murky pale orange in the glass, small one finger head, a lot of sediments. Very hopy and floral nose. Very complex taste. Hopy, alcoholic, fruity, heavy, barrel wood. Great stuff!
