Pours a hazy orange with thick white head, decent lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, wheat, clove, slight banana, yeast, and grass. Flavor was a little bit of a shock at first, but ended up very well. Quite a nice brew, but a little overpriced and difficult to go back to very often.

Aroma acido lupulos citricos y levaduras. Sabor buen equilibrio entre acidez y lupulos con el alcohol muy bien integrado.

Piece of art. Bright orange and cloudy with nice white top. Excellent look! Smell is wonderful! Very hoppy. Strong and rich aroma, full taste, turbid and thick, and very refreshing and distinctive and the same time. Superb at every single level, the very best weizen bock from Germany,

Cloudy orange with white head. Honey, pineapple, banana, caramel and nail polish. Fruity, sweet, tropical fruit and dry finish. Overall: Interesting. Not my cup of tea.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a cloudy dark orange with a frothy white head. Nose is overripe orange, mown lawn, and some malty sweetness. In the mouth, it’s sweet with some yeasty banana and clove notes. Some warming alcohol notes at 8.2 ABV. Hoppy flavors are mainly orange and orange zest with some light grapefruit notes. Great complex beer with a nice hop bouquet.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2015 Orange golden color, murky, strong frothy head, nice carbonation. Insane amount of sediment (bold!). Beautiful. A: an intense fruitiness, with grapefruit, orange, some exotic fruits, pineapple and lychee mix, carrot juice, kiwi, faintest hint of lemon. Mixed together with sweet grains. Wow, incredibly inviting. After yeast deposit, beer almost turns dark, and carrot juice becomes more pronounced. T: delicately balanced fruitiness here as well. The bitter elements of each of the fruits is more pronounced, however. Starts with a sweet fruity taste that is borderline fabricated, this improves after the yeast is poured into the glass, fruitiness is really well balanced then. Develops quite an intense bitterness where the bitter tastes from pineapple, kiwi and grapefruit,-all combined in one big amalgam-, hit the palate. Aftertaste is a bit sticky and dry, with a large fruity taste sticking to the back of the mouth. Wow... Absolutely wonderful summer beer. Final note: best when it is served ice cold.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(bottle) Poured the usual orange/brown Weizen colour. Generous persistant head (to be expected since this beer is heavily hopped AND a wheat beer...)
Some citrusy/perfumy hop aromas along with caramel wheat flavours. Muddy yeast combined with subtle banana and like the others wrote, kind of earthy.
I was sceptical about the prospects for this beer, but I should have known that a brewery like Schneider knows what they are doing and was pleasantly surprised. This beer is quite high in ABV, but hides it well as hot alcohol presence was minimal. I never would have thought a bold hop presence would work in a Weizen, yet it does here!

Almost just perfect and for shure the best IPA-Weizen mix I’ve tasted yet (second on the list with different character ist the limited Maisel & Friends Citrilla Wheat).
Aroma hoppy citrus with grass and there it is the heavy earthy yeast, appeareance strong orange-golden with beautyful head, tastes like a great IPA and then the Weizenbock comes harmonicly in with medium body and loong nice a bit acid aftertaste and lovely carbonation.
You HAVE to try it.
