Hazy golden as a weis-beer should appear but with with great hop aroma and taste to counter its sweetness.

50 cl bottle. Cloudy pale gold pour with frothy lasting head, fair amount of lacing. Aromas of fresh bread, cellar and ripe banana. Taste is bitter (for weizze), balanced and a bit sour. Medium carbonation with medium body. Aftertaste is bitter and long, finish with sweet and sour. Really nice all-year wheat, if you like hops.

Schneider weisse hopfenweisse
Glowing, slightly hazy, golden color with a decent head.
Offers up a fantastic nose, exhibiting floral notes, slightly herbal grass, clove and a ripe fruitiness of banana and orange peel. Grassy hops are well recognizable among a note of honey and bready yeast. Quite complex and intriguing.
Has a perfectly fitting medium carbonation with a smooth mouthfeel to it, thanks to the pleasantly present yeast.
Tastes of bread, leavy hops and a honey sweetness, balanced by a refreshing, medium hop bitterness. Its fruity flavors blend very well into slightly warming honey and biscuity malts, while the hops really amp up the whole character of the beer, pushing it gently into a floral bitterness, without denying its initial flavors. Finishes sweeter, with honey infused yeast smoothness among pepper and dried orange, hiding its higher abv perfectly.
The hoppiness adds a new dimension to the beer, elevating it into the fuller Saisons-, Tripel category. Throughout enjoyable, versatile on the palate, with a very convincable counterpart to the typical Bock sweetness.

I love this beer. I drank this beer in the schneider restaurant in Munich. The colour is a copper and trouble. The carbonation is regular. The taste is perfect with good hop and it is tasting something like mango and sweet fruit, a perfect balance. It is a pity not to find easily this beer in Switzerland.

From the bottle. Pours hazy pale yellow beer with stable head. Nose is sweet grass and hops. Yeast and the typical Bockbier nose in the foreground. Taste is astringent and quite bitter Kind of Hospital taste which is Kind of a bit unpleasent. After all a nice Experiment...

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 11/20

Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber-orange with a soft white head that leaves behind messy lacing. Smells of malts and yeast, orange, light spice. Medium, assertive bitterness that lingers. The bitterness is a nice addition to the wonderful wheat base. Medium bodied and creamy.
