Bought it in Venice as Schneider Hopfen-Weisse Tap 5; one of the best beers I’ve tried recently. A full-bodied weizen with the wonderful floral hints of the Brooklyn hops. Aroma is citrus and vegetal notes, very fresh and inviting. Taste is perfectly balance between the bitternes of the hops and the sweetness of the weizen malts; light carbonation that gives a very smooth sensation on the tongue; long lasting hoppy finish. Give it a try!

Bottle. Pale amber color, hazy liquid, white hear. Very nice smell of candied fruit. Aroma of oranges (dominant), yeast, wheat (background). Alcohol is hidden. Great stuff.

Kauge (1325) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 24, 2016
Bottle from LCBO. Pours basically opaque murky golden yellow with small off-white head that fizzes away rather quickly. The aroma is, uuh, so nice, wheaty grains and stone fruits, pineapple, mango and peaches, grass, and perhaps even a hint of alcohol. Tastes fruity and malty sweet with very nice tropical fruit and somewhat grassy hop character. Full body, thin but crisp carbonation, malty finish with little lingering grassy-leafy-citric bitterness. So nice, would love to have it again.

Cloudy beige pour. Smells herbal and complex, tastes herbal and quite yeasty, good hop bite without astringency, well done of course Schneider.

0.5L bottle. Cloudy dark orangey colour with a two finger white head. Aroma is fresh, hoppy, citrus, tropical fruits, grapefruit, banana, spices, little bit of wheat and yeast, there’s some sourness too and just a hint of alcohol. Taste is hoppy, citrus fruit flavours, grapefruit, lemon, banana, yeast, cloves. For 8.2% the alcohol is incredibly well hidden. Slightly bitter sour finish. Well carbonated, medium bodied. Great beer.

Hazy amber with little white head. Aroma is light fruits, grass, citrus, floral hops. Taste is fresh sourness with mild bitterness and not much else. Body is full and the beer has a nice mouthfeel. Overall very good and very refreshing. The hoppiest Weizen I ever had.
