750mL bottle. Poured medium amber with a dense, sticky smoked beige head. The aroma picked up a whole lot of vinous character and oak over toasted, aged caramel and molasses.. some banana and bubblegum came through to tie it together after a little time to breathe.. complex and interesting. The flavor found rich vinous notes and tangy oak throughout.. black pepper and ripe fruit skins over aged caramel, molasses, and overripe banana.. finished tangy with a lot of wine character. Medium-plus with low-ish carbonation on the palate.. just a little too much wine barrel character for my liking, but it was still really good.

750ml bottle. Cloudy darkest amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally vinous, fruity aroma has notes of cherries, red and dark berries, blue grapes. Taste is minimally sweet fruity with notes of red and dark berries, has a minimally tart touch, explicit wood notes that become more intense in the finish; slightly vinous character in the finish, smooth sparkling carbonation. Exclusive Weizenbock with rather untypical fruit notes, a sophisticated and well balanced composition.

Hazy mahogany pour with a khaki head. Great wine and fruit aromas. Subtle acidity, plenty of wood, sweet caramel, toffee, banana, and hints of chocolate. Lots of berry and grape character. The flavor has a nice malty sweetness along with some charred oak notes. Chocolate, banana, and sweet and tart berries and grapes. Plenty of wine flavor and a light acidity on the finish. Very nice.

Bottle: Pours a mahogany hue with an initial large fluffy beige head, some lace. The aroma has red wine vapours for sure along with some oak tannins. Slightly acetic, funky, and cheesy but you also detect the sweet toffee, chocolate, tobacco, banana and clove notes too! Very interesting to say this least. The taste has a unique blend of red wine vinous notes over the big layer of weizenbock with all it’s caramel, banana, clove and chocolate tones. The is a bit of band-aid as well as a bit of cheese but at this point they add complexity... but as this bottle ages I could see these wild flavors taking over. The mouth feel is just has unique, dry and tannic but sticky and lush too. This is one unique experience not for the meek. The more I drink it the more I like it but I will be honest and say this is the least favorite of any Schneider beer I have had. I guess they would release a sub 4.0 beer at some point.
